Although I do have nostalgia for Ocean too from watching lots of it on toonami uk. I prefer the shuki levi music in the early ocean dub to the nathan jonson music in the funi re-dub. The problem with the later ocean dub was that it was good sometimes but couldn't be consistently good because they went through 9 different directors. The music they used was from megaman and monster rancher some of which was good but some of which turned dbz into a bore and drained the excitement from the series when they played the same 2 or 3 boring tracks for several episodes. This is my opinion on ocean for each saga: Saiyan and namek: Amazing Androids: Mediocre Early cell: Bad Late cell/cell games: Good Saiyaman/Tournament: Mediocre Babidi/buu: Good Fusion: Great Kid buu: Amazing I really feel that the music made all the difference for the ocean dub. For example when they returned to dubbing dbz in the androids saga they had the most boring and generic sounding music possible and after hearing faulconer throughout the ginyu,frieza,garlic jr and trunks sagas it was just down right depressing to hear. I really envied america for getting to keep the FUNi dub for the remainder of the series. Then late on in dbz in the fusion and kid buu sagas they introduced several new music tracks many of which were actually awesome and made the show feel like dbz again plus they actually started including references to death while previously they would have just said "hurt" or "destroy". Ocean's kid buu saga shouldn't be thrown in with a lot of their poorer sagas because it actually rivaled FUNi's version imo.

Some performances and lines in the Ocean dub are much, much better than the FUNimation dub's redub (though I can't compare the DBZKai dub because I don't recall). That said, I'm so used to FUNimation now, it's hard to get those voices out of my head. Also, I like DBZ Abridged's voices even more. Is that so wrong? Yes. But I'm okay with this.

The best one Favourite Manga They all suck	TFS Frieza was based off of Kai Frieza. Kai has some good voice acting too, except for, like, Gohan.

What Browser do you use? Google Chrome, Internet Explorer.	For the first 53 episodes, The Ocean dub was better but after that, it started falling apart and became pretty bad by the Android Saga. So I'll go with the FUNimation dub, even though neither one were that good interpretations of DBZ.
