Ocean Dub vs Funimation Dub

I like ocean up until the ginyu force arrived on namek. This is when I switch to Funimation mainly because I love Bruce Faulconer's music. It makes every battle more epic.

Nothing beats Faulconer's music either. Will I sit down and watch the Ocean Dub? Yes because I do like the voices as well. Funi Dub all the way though.

Posts: 1,998 Group: Member Member #7,432 Joined: March 11, 2012	Think early sagas Ocean Dub did a great job, saiyan sagas, especially Piccolo and Vegeta's voice actors. Hearing Scott Mcneill voice Piccolo was awesome, especially since he also voiced Wolverine from the X men animated series, he really made Piccolo seem like the demon he was in original dragonball and Vegeta sounded ruthless like he was in saiyan and namek saga. Music for both dubs were good, Ocean Dub for early namek saga, i like the cowboy type track from ocean dub that plays during dialogue before fights, fits Vegeta alot but especially Bruce Faulconer's for Frieza Saga and onward. There's a ton of tracks I love on Funimation's ost. Seriously, when Gohan goes SS2 against Perfect Cell with the violin playing in the background from Bruce Faulconer's Gohan anger's it gives me chills. Chris Sabat's Vegeta and Piccolo are also good too and seem more fitting for the later sagas for them as they mellow out and become good characters. Edited by Pylons, Sep 9 2012, 03:26 AM.

The best one Favourite Manga They all suck	First 53 episodes, Ocean was awesome. Probably as good as FUNI. But then their voice acting went waaaay downhill. Plus, I like most of the FUNI voices better (like Gohan's and Goku's). So I like FUNI better. + FUNI has better music.

Future Trunks too. I like JAP's Vegeta more, I can't stand Goku, Gohan or Goten in the Jap version though.

It was when he was trying to sound more like Brian Drummonds Vegeta
