He was rushed and turned up to be a failure...I mean he could have had an epic fight with SSJ2 Gohan.

Even his Full Power and Super Perfect power-up turned out to be inconsistent when he lost to 50% Chi SSJ2 Gohan's KHH.

How was Super Perfect Cell rushed? Think about the context. It wasn't time to have an epic fight. Goku just died and then Future Trunks died, I doubt Gohan or Cell wanted to have a fight in the same way that Goku and Cell fought and the whole reason Goku died was because Gohan dragged out the fight and didn't kill Cell. He wasn't going to make the same mistake twice, Cell wanted Gohan dead and Gohan wanted Cell dead. Cell saga was way less rushed then Buu saga and was a way better developed story.

He enters the state, kills Trunks, and enters a Ki struggle with Gohan and dies.

How is that not rushed? lol.

It's not rushed given the context of the situation, that's what I'm trying to explain to you. There's a reason why went straight to the kamehameha struggle. It wouldn't have made sense for it not to be, that's what I explained in my previous post. Cell returns, kills Future Trunks, Vegeta goes into a rage and attacks Cell, only to be almost killed if Gohan didn't save him. His arm is jacked from saving Vegeta, not the best time for an epic fight. And it wouldn't have made sense if he did have a long drawn out fight, The whole reason Goku died was because Gohan didn't finish the fight when he had the chance. It wouldve been redundant since they just fought in previous episodes and wouldn't have made sense given what just happened.

Also Cell was overwhelmed by Gohan's kamehameha because Vegeta took Cell's attention away from the beam struggle allowing Gohan to take advantage.

^ That, and why would Cell want a prolong fight and risk Gohan getting angry enough to draw out even more power?

Cell didn't beat Gphan for a good reason in the manga, and even better reason in the anime. In the manga Goku was standing right there with him and Vegeta refused to let another Saiyan die that day. In the anime Piccilo and Krilin who had such a strong relationship with him as well as Yamcha and Tien who Goku impacted so much stood by him, and then Vegeta put every bit of his ssj power into a big bang.

That's because the manga really jumped so forward thru the 3 years. They didn't even really flesh that out like the filler in the anime did. Even without filler in Namek and the Saiyan saga, you till had a better grasp of the time moving along for the others mostly because a couple months jump is not as extreme as a multi year jump

I feel like he was rushed.

But it's barely his fault...

Blame AT for giving him a powerup that puts him equal with SSJ2 Kid Gohan then not knowing what to do with him.

Well what I meant was that every villain didn't seem to get much spotlight, like they literally last for 1 -2 fights before transforming or getting killed.

I agree with Sora, Cell wanted Gohan dead and vise versa.

I dont think it was rushed at all. Cell had been around for a long time at that point and it was time for him to go. Also Gohan also proved he could easily defeat him when at his full power, but getting hit by the blast disabled his arm. This made it impossible to fight very well, and all he could do is use his energy against Cell, so they could not stretch out this battle any longer.

Well Vegeta built the backstory to Frieza, the whole Saiyan saga did. They used DB to build the android story, and it just didn't fit. 18/17/cell were epic though but Gero and 19 sucked. Buu just came off better on tv to me and it isn't close how much Toei outdid the magna
