Let's say he did 32 times the world trip in about 16 minutes,which makes once per half a minute. Now,considering power and speed are related,you can go with your power levels and find the other characters' speeds.

He needs to sense someone's ki, it's not like he can teleport to the mountains for instance, just because he wants to; for that, he needs to fly there on his own.

I think this might be filler but didn't pan fly around the world 4 times during training before the tournament at eoz? Vegeta got there fast, after he stopped ranting about them screwing him and realized he had to fly there.

He flew there in seconds or a second, and Namek is massively big compared to the Earth. the fight started right outside the ship, and they didn't travel anywhere to fight. goku got there so quickly because he only had to fly, at most, a few miles because of the drift of the fight itself, if that. namek is never stated to be bigger or smaller than earth. the only evidence we have of its size is that bulma moved normally, so the gravity was neither extremely high nor extremely low, since even 2g would leave her almost completely immobile, while gravity significantly lower than earth would leave her moonwalking. @Gotenks. he never stated how many times he flew around the earth, but the picture showed him flying around 5 times, without getting close to the earth during the flight. i did the calculations in another thread, and he was travelling between 1-2% of the speed of light, assuming that the only reason he came down was because he needed air (3 minute flight time, 25 minute nap, 1 minute talking, 1 minute left when he went to fight buu). @pan, all that's said is that she flew around the world, it was never stated how long it took her, except that it was "fast". buu arc gohan would have taken 13 hours to make that trip, which is obviously not "fast", so she's almost definitely faster than buu arc base gohan, unless she was using tricks to go faster, like flying through the upper atmosphere.

I was always under the impression it took them awhile to fly around. But when they got to that I was like "oh".
