Incorrect I'm afraid, it was Chi Chi's decision to get involved with Goku, we can't blame Goku for being himself.

I must have really hit a nerve with this thread.
(YA THINK, SM!?)
It's disappointing that you guys are not addressing my arguments as to why Chi Chi is insane, but rather trying to justify her actions.
Sure we can't. ;) WE can't blame Goku for having TWO kids either. As far as bringing facts to the table, all you have managed to say is "she is insane" or Cashbreakin backing up your statement by saying "she is an idiot." Or once again you saying "many mothers are bad mothers." You my friend are the one who is "wrong" considering opinions can't be wrong. You can't assume your opinion is fact because it is just an opinion and nothing more.

As far as you hitting a nerve, nah you don't effect me one bit. :=]: n fact, I could leave this thread right now and be dancing around the house without a single issue. The fact that I changed one person's mind is enough for me. You can keep hating on as you wish, but in the end, I think with Kblo's help I proved my point to at least to SOMEONE.

You have the right to hate on a character, but to say that other people's opinions are wrong is not cool.

@DBZA- Thanks

@DBZA- Okay Mrs. Briefs and Marron didn't have anger issues, but they were far worse for being "air heads." I'll give you that point that they both were not angry for the most part. Even if they didn't have anger issues, a lot of the female characters who were prominent on the show did. There is no denying that.

I don't know about the manga, but I've watched the entire DBZ and DB anime several times and I can say without any bias that the character Chi-Chi in DBZ has demonstrated extreme obsession and anger on numerous occasions. Looking at her character in DBZ from a more real life perspective, I would say it's clear Chi-Chi wishes the best for her son, but she has some serious personal issues that need to be worked out! Peace
She was bitched up a bit for the Japanese anime, and a whole lot for the dub among other things.

Mrs. Briefs wasn't an "air head", she was just inherently naive.

Mrs Briefs to me appeared to be well bubbly, sort of like Erasa, only older

Regardless of Mrs. Briefs being bubbly or an airhead, I am no longer posting in this topic. I just had to give a different point of view to Chichi. I think I said everything I needed too.

So Chi Chi home-schools Gohan with amazing results for most of his developing years. Why the hell did she send him to a public high-school at age 17 when he was probably already capable of studying at a university level? Heck, Bulma could have granted him an internship at Capsule Corp. No need for the mind-numbing high-school experience.

She might have just wanted to develop his social skills a little more, I mean he had been living in the wilderness in a cottage for years, she wanted him to have an important career, chances are he would have to find that career in a large city full of people, if he was brought up in a cozy background then suddenly flung into and office environment full of all types of people it'd hit him like a ton of bricks. That's my opinion anyway. :/

Okay anonymous I'm just going to clear one misconception. 18 attacking 17 can't be compared to chi chi attacking super buu, because technically she's around the same power as 17
