This arc is so awesome so far. Best part though was when the master almost died and he said 'before I die I must reach out to the next Fairy Tail Master' and then it shows Laxus who is wondering what he's feeling. I wish/hope Laxus comes to Fairy Island and busts some heads. Also, Hades being the current bad guy is pretty awesome too, because of the whole connection with the guild. Best arc so far and it's not even close! Would turn even more awesome if Laxus shows up and splits heads.

One of the best parts of that arc (that you would have read so far) was when Gildarts made Natsu crap himself just by releasing his magic. It's kind of frightening and really gives you an idea of how much of a monster Gildarts really is.

And don't worry, that arc is just getting started.

Just finished the fight scene where Natsu defeats Hades because Laxus helps him out. First off Laxus was a badass dropping in with his lightning. Sucks that the chapter I just read had the master still mad at Laxus for showing up though. I know people disagree but still in every arc I get Natsu > Erza. Also, I'm really confused about Zeref (who is a little boy who is 400 yrs old apparently). He seems like a nice guy, but he says only Natsu can beat him. Also, interesting how everyone keeps saying the origin of magic was dark to begin with.

Lol, Lector is alive I knew it. Minerva and her teleporting bull*****. Still, it will be interesting to see how Sting does now with both Lector's life and the position of ST Master on the line. Minerva is a ***** though, no doubt about that.

Did Lily make a Prison Break reference there? Lol, he said that if he knew they'd get caught he'd have drawn a map on his back....

Pretty predictable, they come up against another team. Get ready for LFD Natsu owning everyone. I have hope we'll see Mira's Satan Soul go up against an actual strong opponent and she'll be badass. Ready for Carla's vision to be not as bad as we thought though (like last arc....). Anyway, I don't care about this stuff tbh, we need to get back to the tournament.

Alright so I'm into these exams/contest for strongest guild and man is Fairy Tail getting crushed, it's actually pretty cool.

Mineva you *****, lmao. Well she definitely planned it all well, everything is to her advantage. She got rid of her dad, gives Sting a super good reason to win, she’s being tactical during the matches as well. With her teleporting, it makes a lot of sense now reading back when Lector seemingly died haha. Reminds me of a scene in Sword Art Online, the faking death through teleporting

Loved the Prison Break reference, if it was haha, it fits more seeing as I could see Lily being in that kind of position as well haha. Why am I not surprised, the team faces off against another team of new strong people, hopefully these guys get to push Natsu/Mira to pull off some cool moves, Pantherlily as well seeing as we don’t know what kind of training he did with Gajeel exactly.

But there was emphasis on the princess being sad, why the face? I swear if it has something to do with Lucy again, there’s already a trend going with that… but there’s gotta be something deeper obviously. But yeah, I don’t really care about it either. I guess the scenes are going back and forth to give us the impression they’re happening at the same time, but I’d rather see the tourney finish first.

First off the mangaka is awesome at making single panels to show emotion which I love. Some of the best moments were just single emotion-filled panels like when Laxus cries when he sees his grandpa giving him the hand sign, etc.

Most epic moments in the manga so far just happened not too many chapters ago when Natsu busts into to Sabertooth's guild and wrecks havoc, which was shortly followed by him and Gajiil beating the ***** out of the 2 dragon slayers in the strongest gild comp from there. Also, interesting that we get to see Igneel like once every 70 chapters lol.

Lucy is a dumbass for not accepting the 2 keys that would make her zodiac complete.

Like the female cast since they're useful.

Hard to tell how powerful anyone is, unfortunately.

It's hard for me to follow the whole Zeref thing. I can never tell if he's being revived, already revived, or what lol but considering how much everyone is scared of him I give him cool points.

Top 10 wizard conceal is a joke. They said that them taking on a few monsters in the tourny didn't garuntee them victory but then Erza goes and beat the ***** out of 100 straight lol.

Also, they do the best job with mild fan service in this manga. It's not obvious, but there and great. Gotta admit this mangaka can draw some fake hot cartoons lol.

Anyway, liking it and will be 100% caught up in an hour or two.

Did Natsu beating both Sting and Rogue while they were in Dragon Force and he was in base not bother you a little? It kind of pissed me off to be honest, made their whole hype seem completely pointless. It also annoyed me that Natsu got to solo them, Mashima seems to have issues with Gajeel, lol.

Zeref is still alive, just nobody knew. He was able to figure out the value of human life, which made him empathetic and unable to control his death magic. He wants someone to kill him and for some reason he thinks Natsu is the only person capable. Only problem was that Natsu was far too weak to even hurt him last time they met. Although since he killed Hades, Zeref might be back to his evil self.
