ill just get my cheap and easy +1s in forum games then i guess....
Made my day

Not sure if I was one of the people "trolling" and stuff but I think this is a good idea. People will hopefully start posting elsewhere again, and then spam can hopefully be reopened when the other sections get a better amount of activity.

I'm not quite getting this logic.

Trolling everywhere in the forum therefore close spam section and it gets better?

No. Trolling in spam section = close spam section.

As a result, trolling everywhere = punishment.

I see the logic, Storm, but I don't see the proof behind it.

I'll just leave it at saying I don't see any trolling and reason for all this hype. But it's not like I can do anything about it. Oh well. Here's my last post in this thread.

Closing the spam section is to get people to post in other areas in a more mature manner. The spam section was filled with hateful and offensive posts, often getting removed.

Pretty much this, trolling does happen in other areas as well but not to the same extent it happened in spam, people seem to have seen spam as a free area to do this.

Yes and Paki is banned.

I am closing this thread now, if you have anything further to say, I suggest PMing me, everything that needs to be said has been said.

Or feel free to make a topic in this section, only you and the staff will see it: http://dbzf.co.uk/forum/3008886/

While i've stayed quiet on this for now I just want to remind everyone you are welcome to contact me with any concerns :)

I don't see what the big deal is about having the spam section closed. The senior members on this forum do know what it was like when everyone could chat without feeling uncomfortable about what certain members do or say. I've been here 6 years too, and I can tell the community has changed significantly. It's partly why I have taken a stand back from the forum.

There are other places people can post and actually have a decent conversation so it's not bad at all.

The senior members are just trying to make the community safe/happy for everyone.
