 Guild Wars 2 is coming out in a couple of days time. I pre-ordered it so I have the ability to be playing the game early but if anybody has bought, will be buying or is thinking of buying the game, I wouldn't mind starting up a guild or something. I've never really had the chance to play the original guild wars or even just play MMOs with a set group of other people so it's something I'd quite like to do if I can.

 You won't be able to play it early even if it arrives before the release date. You'll have to wait for the official release date to register your details and play the game. It might not even let you install it.

I've heard rumours that this game isn't that great. Of course I'm just gonna have to play the free trial and find out for myself. I never played the first one either so I don't even know what this game's about. Hopefully it won't be as disappointing as Diablo 3.

The original Guild Wars is ten times better than Diablo 3. The only change of the Guild Wars 2 game is they have removed healers aka monks so I'm unsure how you heal.

Then why is it that I have been able to play GW2 for the last 2 days? You don't seem that well informed lol...

 Oh well my mistake. I was just going by all the other half a dozen games that wouldn't even install until the day they were released. What's it like then? It looks very pretty graphically.

 I've watched the Yogscast playthroughs of this game. It looks awesome!

I'd be tempted to get it, but as there is no official Mac version would have to be through Wine which may cause a few issues cause i'm a nub :c

I know a few guys from my work got it today and have been loving it.

 I ordered it just a minute ago so I hope it doesn't disappoint. Should arrive by the end of the week. We'll all have to have our own guild.

 I've finished installing it but I need to know what server to play on before I can actually start. I don't want to level 10 times and then find out all my friends are somewhere else.

I was a rapid player of the original, last summer was hyped for II, but it's a year later and it's died down. When I get a computer with better specs, i'll try it.

 I don't think it's all that great. There's a lot of very tedious quests that are far too long, the user interface is not friendly, the chat window is too small and unnoticable, the story sucks and all my character's attacks look the same. That being said, I still find it quite an addicting game. But at the same time although it is addictive it's not really any fun.
