San Francisco 49ers; OH YEAH BOY 12-13 Season

With arguably the best defense in the league, the 49ers come back in the 12-13 season loaded with powerful offense to match their dominant defense. Look for Alex smith to become more than just a game manager, especially with such prolific targets like Mario Manningham and Randy Mofo Moss.

49ers go to the super bowl this year.

Greenbay's defense actually isn't that bad.

Colin Kaepernick is the future of the NFL. ***** Cam Newtwon/RG3/Russell Wilson.. All eyes on the prodigy.

It takes a mere second for treasure to turn to trash.

I'm still not convinced. GO ALEX SMITH.

I'm totally calling it though... 49ers Pats Superbowl.

Kinda wish T-Gonz got to the big game, but, hey, I like the 9ers. I just don't like Colin Kaepernick.

GO RAVENS. GO HARBOWL!

Me too. I knew he'd shred my poorly coached Texans. Too conservative of play calling. Too predictable. A waste of a top 3 defense and top 10 offense.

Actually, I was the one who called it from the beginning of the season about Alex Smith not doing well and the 49ers having a disappointing season if they didn't reach the Superbowl. You basically said Alex Smith would do well because you are blind 49ers fan. You can go find my quote if you want.

The 49ers win was a fluke though. There was a penalty called on the Ravens defense for a hit on Kaenerpick. They got a 15 yard penalty that gave them a first down or else they would have had to punt it. Honestly, the defender stuck his hand in the air to stop Kaenerpick from throwing. The 49ers qb barely got hit and got a penalty, yet I see Matt Ryan get stomach slammed to the ground and nothing.

Fumbles by Matt Ryan gave the 49ers the chance to come back just like hm......the 49ers fumbling last year too?

Either way, congrats to them.

All I am saying that is if 49ers don't win the Superbowl, they might as well not try next season because they have everything in their favor.

They have all the weapons at their disposable, but they do have a weak link. Alex Smith is the weak link on that team. I just know that in the playoffs he will break. If he doesn't, then they have a chance. To me, he is going to be another Tony Romo.

Alex Smith isn't the weakest link anymore. He's a top 15 QB now, easily. He's only had 7 passes in the last 2 games that were even considered incomplete(That the receivers didn't drop)

He's becoming our first round pick, and it's time that people stop looking at him as a bust. Shed your stigma of what Alex Smith was, and look at what Alex Smith IS

You can thank me again. I should be a head coach in the NFL really.

Yeah and you guys got "6" timeouts. ;)

In all honesty, I will hold by what I said when this topic was started. I really think Alex Smith is a weak point in that offense. They are a gifted team there is no doubt. They WON'T win with Alex Smith. If they do, you can quote me on this.

HOWEVER, I will say this. I don't know who the backup qb is for the 49ers. He had brief showings in the game. He wears number 7, but DAMN he is tall and can run. Why don't you guys start him instead?

Edit: I just looked him up.

7 Kaepernick, Colin QB 6-4 230 24 2 Nevada

He will be a star. If you guys don't use him, I see him being big in the NFL. Those briefs plays that he had. He showed a lot.

...lol I have a feeling 9ers are gonna take it all the way this year. I AM SHOCKED they beat the falcons after being down 17-0 and Julio Jones shredding their vaunted Defense. Wow...

Alex smith could have easily took us there. Kaepernick is clearly better. I said We'd make the super bowl before you. Our defense is why we won. Remeber that pookie, fluke my ***** ZERO points in the 2nd half.

You said it because you're a blind 49ers fan. You honestly believe Alex Smith would have brought you this far? You even said it yourself he choked in a couple of games. If you guys had Alex Smith in, you would have lost last week or possibly not have made the playoffs. Also, it was a fluke. The 49ers fumbled at the one where the Falcons had no chance to get it up the field because they were basically backed up. There was a call where a Falcons defender barely touched Kaepernick and they got a first down whereas Matt Ryan got pummeled to the ground. It was bullcrap and you know it. The fact that Matt Ryan fumbled with no one around is another fluke. How come the 49ers win isn't a fluke, yet the Giants' victory was? It was like the same thing last year because someone fumbled. You make absolutely no sense.

By the way, I wanted go give you a taste of your own medicine. However, I congratulated you at the end of your victory rather than calling it just a fluke. At least, I can admit when a team is good.

I hope the Ravens defeat the 49ers for the sake of Ray Lewis.

You dont play 30 minutes of a 60 minutes game and expect to win. There were equally bad calls on both sides ans they balanced out. This was a clear win for the niners
