San Francisco 49ers; OH YEAH BOY 12-13 Season

With arguably the best defense in the league, the 49ers come back in the 12-13 season loaded with powerful offense to match their dominant defense. Look for Alex smith to become more than just a game manager, especially with such prolific targets like Mario Manningham and Randy Mofo Moss.

49ers go to the super bowl this year.

^Doesn't mean anything. I think most players on the squad are lining up for A.Smith than for Kapernick. He can be groomed for the future but for their best they need A.Smith to play at his best.

It means that Kaepernick needs more time to develop. I've followed smith for his entire tenure. I have reason to not like him.

That may be true but he definitely won't be ready for playoff action this year. I don't think experience is has important as it was in the past with rookie QB's(Newton in 2011, RGIII in 2012) having great seasons. Still though in this situation and this team it's best to go with the more experienced QB unless they prove clearly that they should not start.

I'm not as impressed with RG3

How come? You can't say that so far he hasn't lived up to his hype?

He may have lesser wins than Luck but that's to do with Redskins and Luck being a better pocket QB. I think his better than a lot of QB's this season but like all things in the NFL he'll have to prove it season in season out.

Well right now at the moment, Alex Smith is the better quarterback IMO. Give Kaepernick a few years and he will be a better quarterback.

#1 team in the league. Tom Brady's 20 game win streak has been stopped in the second half.

4 TDs for Kaepernick.

We are the best!

You mean with their easy schedule? They've lost to the top teams they've played. I won't believe it until they've won a playoff game

Laying the smack down on the Ravens, winning 9 in a row, they've earned it to me.

The Ravens are little past their prime, and Joe Flacco is a joke

We shall see this weekend. Niners vs Seahawks. Russell Wilson vs Colin Kaepernick. There play styles are so familiar. Though I must agree that even as an avid Ravens fan, there is no denying that our team is on the decline. Playing in the weak AFC definitely favors us.
