With arguably the best defense in the league, the 49ers come back in the 12-13 season loaded with powerful offense to match their dominant defense. Look for Alex smith to become more than just a game manager, especially with such prolific targets like Mario Manningham and Randy Mofo Moss.

49ers go to the super bowl this year.

If Jim Harbaugh can do another year of amazing coaching and barring any major injuries they'll be in NFC championship again.

Red and Gold, all the way.

WHOS GOT IT BETTER THAN US!? NOBODY!

Harbaugh turned a team that was a no-contender into a superbowl caliber team. If the off season did alex smith ANY good we're golden. (See what I did there?)

I may not deserve to live, but I will protect those in my reach with my reverse blade!

I still think winning a Superbowl with a sub par QB is almost impossible nowadays, but I've never seen a defense and head coach so well in line so we'll have to wait and see.

I'm not talking about a route, more so a rout.

Uhh, I've been a Niners fan since I was 7. You are not limited to your geographical location to pick a favorite team. I grew up with people who loved the 49ers, and I've loved them since.

I love the New York Yankees in Baseball, the 49ers in football, the Devils in Hockey, and Italy in soccer.

I don't like basketball.

Don't call me a bandwagoner

All I am saying that is if 49ers don't win the Superbowl, they might as well not try next season because they have everything in their favor.

They have all the weapons at their disposable, but they do have a weak link. Alex Smith is the weak link on that team. I just know that in the playoffs he will break. If he doesn't, then they have a chance. To me, he is going to be another Tony Romo.

The 49ers have Randy Moss. It will be an EXTREMELY disappointing season if they do not make it to the Superbowl just saying. All the pressure is on them too to be THAT good. Not to mention they took both Mario Manning ham and Jacobs from the NY Giants to make sure they solidified their place in the Superbowl.

I can see that many teams are starting to get Giants players hoping it will help them win a Superbowl.

I <3 being a Giants fan and have been since i was young.

Back to the 49ers. I see anything less than as a superbowl for them as a disappointing season. They spent a lot of money and time in the off season. I hope it pays off for them.

Oh, and I see the Minnesota Vikings next week bringing an upset to the 49ers. With me cheering them on, they will win. :w00t:

Vikings are my 2nd favorite team. :p (I had to edit that in.)

Alex Smith isn't the weakest link anymore. He's a top 15 QB now, easily. He's only had 7 passes in the last 2 games that were even considered incomplete(That the receivers didn't drop)

He's becoming our first round pick, and it's time that people stop looking at him as a bust. Shed your stigma of what Alex Smith was, and look at what Alex Smith IS
