I may not deserve to live, but I will protect those in my reach with my reverse blade!

Playing Pokemon for first time and not catching Mew 2. I didn't use cheats back then it was prideful hard work and I goofed by killing it then saving the game because I hated people that took advantage of non ingame techniques.

Dead space 2 and bioshock 2, the disappointment still makes me cry to this day *sniff sniff*
WHAT
Dead Space 2 is one of my favorite games of all time.
It was average at best compared to the first one, maybe i just had my expectations to high because of DS1. Hopefully the series will go back to its roots for Dead Space 3, in no way is DS2 a terrible game, it's just the first one blows it away IMO.
Although I consider both to be masterpieces, I actually ike DS2 better than the first. I just feel like it runs much smoother yet it keeps the atmosphere from the first one. Also going back into the Ishimura in the 2nd one was incredible.

As for Dead Space 3.. i've become extremely worried about it. It seems they are heading way to far away from what made the first two great games. They want to make it more action (I mean come on it has cover? human enemies? really?). Thats not what Dead Space is..i will be very dissappointed if DS3 is not good.
Yeah that trip back to the Ishimura was pretty dang awesome, definitely a highlight. The main problems i had with DS2 was that it was too much non-stop action. One of the primary reasons i fell in love with the first one was because it picked its times to scare perfectly, but in DS2 they didn't give us time to breathe. The action was non-stop and it became predictable. Also it was alot better when Isaac was mute, whenever a huge necromorph comes out Isaac starts cracking jokes which completely ruins the tone. The first one put you in Isaac's shoes which makes it alot easier to immerse yourself into the game. The player gets to use their imagination to determine how he's feeling instead of them telling you, i like survival/horror games more when their like that.

Back on the topic of DS3... i'm really hoping it's good, and human enemies!? What are they thinking?

I completely understand about the voice thing, even though I like the fact he has a voice now.

But yeah DS3 has human enemies and cover and its not in an inclosed area like the first 2. Where you were stuck on a space ship with no where to go. In the third one you're on a planet.

I guess we will just have to wait and see.

I'll be hoping for the best but expecting the worst. This way i won't be too disappointed if it's utter crap

Assassin's Creed II was a big disapointment for me. I thought it would be better than assassin creed 1 but story line was the worst. The graphics were better.
I thought Assassin's Creed II absolutely blew Assassin's Creed out of the water.

AC II remains one of my favorite games to this day. It's an absolute classic.
The blonde girl with the black lips turned to Valkyrie.
"We know," she said. "We've seen the future. We know you're going to kill the world..."

Release it Gohan! Release everything! Remember all the pain he's caused... The people he's hurt... NOW MAKE THAT YOUR POWER!!!!

Final Fantasy 8, I had 7 and 9 for god knows how long before picking 8 up, I hated it. It was just so meh, I didn't like the characters, the story, the fighting system, the anything system...just meh.

Dragon Age 2. Rushed as hell and suffers for it. DA:O was a great game, sure the story was obvious but it didn't matter at all. DA2 was just...wrong, it was off. Some things were better but releasing it as a sequel was insane. It needed another year of work, maybe more.

Bioshock 2. I don't hate it, I don't even dislike it. I loved Bioshock's aesthetics and when I saw 2 I expected to be drawn in again but it fell flat for me (and a lot of others). To be honest I'm not entirely sure why, lots of little things...Still, sucked, especially the multiplayer which was laggy as hell and very average, again not bad but average.

Yeah DA2 needed about a year to develop it more. The entire story, the entire game was just recycled the same old enemies. Spiders, bandits, Templars, Demons.

I love the fighting system, it was new and felt pretty good to go more hack and slasher with it. Hated the armor system for it, for the NPCs anyway.

Unreal Tournament? :o ; I love that game to bits.

Anywho, my biggest disssssssapointment was Parasite Eve 2. Not a bad game, just not as good as the first, in any aspect.

The Sims 3, for xbox 360, biggest let down for me, was just so, novelty driven, instead of extensive gameplay driven.
