From your first console to the one you are playing now... From your first game, to your favorite game... Out of all the money you spent, what game did you hype up most for and was let down. Why?

The first Prototype. My friends and I were soooo pumped for it too come out and I even skipped school for it lol.

Then well.. you know the rest if you've played it.

Final Fantasy series. Although I actually played one game of the series I don't think it was for me. It was hyped up series that I hadn't played before I tried a random game from the series and couldn't stand the voices and the random scenes seemed nonsensical.

Yeah Fable 2 and Fable 3. Both failed big time. It's a real shame when the first game of any series outshines the ones that come after it. The Lost Chapters was great! But the sequels...it was like they took half a step forward, three steps to the side then back.

Also Naruto Generations and Dragon Age 2.

Moreso Dragon Age 2 than anything I have played recently...just how the heck do you go from making one of the greatest rpgs to nearly screwing over a franchise and bringing the fans into riot mode? And rightfully so.

Grand Theft auto IV for me. Left out a lot of the elements that made San Andreas legendary for a PS2 game. Personal stats, MANY activities, casinos, car-customization, gyms, tattoos, Gang territory, planes, BUSINESSES, and a lot more safe-houses and weapons... It even had Co-op.

Grand Theft Auto IV was a glorified GTA 3. Nothing really to do after the main story was over except mess around, deliver cars [boring], date, go out with your friends, race, or deliver stupid packages for Little Jacob. Sure, GTA 4 had things that weren't in San Andreas, but the cons far out-weigh the pros.

Black and White. It's a game where you play as God and you can be evil or good. Problem was that it was incredibly childish and way more limited in terms of what you can actuallly do than what it should have been.

Final Fantasy 12, I was disappointed. I liked the characters, but the plot was all over the place.

It was average at best compared to the first one, maybe i just had my expectations to high because of DS1. Hopefully the series will go back to its roots for Dead Space 3, in no way is DS2 a terrible game, it's just the first one blows it away IMO.

Although I consider both to be masterpieces, I actually ike DS2 better than the first. I just feel like it runs much smoother yet it keeps the atmosphere from the first one. Also going back into the Ishimura in the 2nd one was incredible.

As for Dead Space 3.. i've become extremely worried about it. It seems they are heading way to far away from what made the first two great games. They want to make it more action (I mean come on it has cover? human enemies? really?). Thats not what Dead Space is..i will be very dissappointed if DS3 is not good.

Assassin's Creed II was a big disapointment for me. I thought it would be better than assassin creed 1 but story line was the worst. The graphics were better.

Yeah that trip back to the Ishimura was pretty dang awesome, definitely a highlight. The main problems i had with DS2 was that it was too much non-stop action. One of the primary reasons i fell in love with the first one was because it picked its times to scare perfectly, but in DS2 they didn't give us time to breathe. The action was non-stop and it became predictable. Also it was alot better when Isaac was mute, whenever a huge necromorph comes out Isaac starts cracking jokes which completely ruins the tone. The first one put you in Isaac's shoes which makes it alot easier to immerse yourself into the game. The player gets to use their imagination to determine how he's feeling instead of them telling you, i like survival/horror games more when their like that.

Back on the topic of DS3... i'm really hoping it's good, and human enemies!? What are they thinking?
