Chrome Favourite Manga Hunter x Hunter	That sounds like the vB rep system which is an extremely complicated piece of coding and the way it is regulated uses an algorithm which can be edited for each board xD Definitely not something which we can set up here. If people want it we can trial a rep system if we can find it - i'll hunt for a decent one that should fit most of what has been said here. We have had one before, though it was removed as it slowed the board too much. Also, Rogue had been derepped

Im not sure what boards they were using. But the rep system is efficient. anyone can take a look at my example, its on <link> you can create a fake account and just lurk. You'll get the full scope. You can screenshot parts to prove a point if you wish but I think a lot of people already know how a rep system works and the last time we had on on DBZF, it did allow us to remove abusive rep points, so that isn't the problem.

Plenty of sites have good repping systems, but this is the best IVE seen so far.

Lol Doesn't work that way, a reputation system is pretty much just a number you get depending on if people give you a positive rep or a negative rep, there wouldn't be titles or ranks from it. Reputation systems generally are popularity meters, there is no way to moderate that, however the abuse of negative reputations can be moderated.

Would it also be practical to give users the option to turn rep on their profile off? For those that don't actually wish to have it.
