Ninjajp/Slayerslice appeal	Yep Britain is definitely 1 of the heavyweights of Amateur boxing, up there with Cuba and Kazakhstan. Really really looking forwards to the semis of the women's lightweights, and the light welter men's semis. TKD starts tomorrow (wednesday....so today actually). Also lol the Algerian guy who got kicked out for not trying got a doctor's note, and then went on to obliterate his competition in the 1500m final to win the gold.

So it will be Spain vs korea for the mens gold medal but I forget who the Spanish lady is set to fight unfortunately. I think it's a Chinese woman but she could be Taiwanese.

They've got a few young talents coming through since the success of Badar Uugan Enkhbatyn. I just saw the men's TKD you were talking about. The Spanish guy really gave it to his opponent, a strong victory. I need to get into the rules more though. I tried watching some Greco-Roman but I found it kinda boring. No disrespect to it, I'm sure it's difficult and takes plenty of commitment and training, it was just really static.

We used to only send college kids, then we won Bronze and everybody was like " 'Merica needs to win gold! " Now though, I think we seriously might set an age limit of 21 or 22 for next Olympics.

Ninjajp/Slayerslice appeal	Actually up early for once.... Martin Stamper took his first TKD fight. Both him and the Mexican he was facing threw a lot of kicks to the body, but for the first 2 rounds all the kicks were narrowly dodged. In the third Martin got a point, and then shortly afterwards managed to just about land a headshot. The Mexican really piled on the pressure at the end, but wasn't able to get more than a couple of points. Martin Stamper....pretty fitting name for a TKD competitor lol, what with all the kicks. Kinda like Tom Stalker....he stalks you around the ring.

Firefox Favourite Manga Dragonball	Jade Jones and Martin Stamper just got through to the semi finals. Jade pwned her opponent, almost getting enough of a lead to have the fight stopped. She has to fight the number one seed next. I don't know if she has the tools to do the job. We shall see. As for Martin Stamper, he wasn't hugeley impressive. I can't see him getting a gold. But at least GB has at least two bronze medals for it now. I just found out that we got a gold medal in the individual dressage. That's pretty baws.

Archery too I guess mostly. edit: lightweights now. Katie Taylor vs Sofya Ochigava. I'll be rooting for the Russian but I like them both a lot. edit: lol did I just hear Ochigava get booed.... edit: Ochigava needs to stop clinching so much......
