I think the USA Basketball team is rigged to win. To be like Jordans Dream team in the 90's. Secondly, They took out Water Polo. I love when girls are wet throwing balls around

Water Polo is still in it. Canada's women didn't qualify though. Not sure about the men. |

If I have to see wet men throwing balls, I'm okay with that too. |

I watched the men's water polo the other day. That looks like the most exhausting game ever. |

Wow Honduras are kicking.......the ball into the net. Even with 10 men. edit: 2-2 also....Nemar is such a diver....and some other Brazilian guy. Should get a yellow card after the game if you dive and the ref misses it. Edited by TrunksinSwimmingTrunks, Aug 4 2012, 05:12 PM.

GB are dominating the cycling and rowing events. 4 gold medals on track, 1 on road with the cycling and 4 golds for various rowing contests. Looks like they're set to get at least 1 gold for athletics too. |

So that's 3 gold medals for athletics and our high jumper is through to the finals. Really impressive and quite surprising stuff not to mention the cycling earlier where both the men and women's team got the gold. I think the 4 man rowing team got one too. That makes 14 golds for GB and 29 medals total XD |

The British team in men's football should be ashamed of themselves. I am sick and tired of seeing teams from Asia and South America succeed while Europe always fails to win at their own game at the *****in olympics! Jesus Christ guys ITS *****IN SOUTH KOREA GUYS AT LEAST LOSE TO BRAZIL AND SAY YOU LOST TO AN HONORABLE TEAM. For once that the British had the chance to play football at the games in front of theirr own fans they lost to *****in Korea. Spain's no better, they were able to embarass an Italian team 4-0 that was injured and beat and they lose to *****in Japan and Honduras. The Olympics are in Europe and this is how European football repays us. I don't care if the teams are B sides compared to the full FIFA sanctioned teams, but the amateurs of Spain and Britain are better than the amateurs of Japan and Korea! |

I don't see why Japan, South Korea or any other Asian team can't be genuinely good at football. Times move on. |

Like I said times move on. With time they train and become good at football. Football was invented in Britain, yet the British teams have been below a lot of other European teams for a long time. Same with so many other sports, just because you dominated it at one time doesn't mean you always will. |
