He was defeated by Frieza then how can he travel to the past in the same planet? I am confused really.

Actualy this is what happens in manga : Frieza destroyes Planet Vegeta and probably creates hole between timelines and Bardock falls into one on same place but diffrent timeline.

He would still die, Frieza would transform and dominate Bardock. And the only real explanation would that Frieza's attack created a wormhole of some kind and Bardock got sucked into it. Thats weird how he was the only one, when if that happened he wouldnt be alone in the past.
