I already knew Andrea was going to sleep with the Governor. It could create problems for the group later on. I see her already starting to fall for his charm. It is possible that she may fall in love with him and get rejected. He doesn't seem like someone who falls in love easily. Not to mention, he tends to use women. I remember two episodes ago he had a woman laying in his bed.

As for Rick, I think he was coocoo for coco puffs in that episode. I think it was a way for him to gain his mind back by believing he was talking to Lori. Hershell said he didn't hear anything on the phone when he picked it up. Who would know everything about Rick anyway? It was definitely in his mind. The moment where he held the baby was a good sign that he will be back into full swing.

Just to troll.....Shane would have done better.:p I am kidding. It is a joke.....I just love starting debates about who is better though. However, I do want to move on from that because Shane has long been dead. No point in bringing him up anymore.

Merle will probably help his brother when they meet up. Right now, he is probably confused on who to side with. I don't think he is as bad either. He is more aggressive and hostile, but he isn't a complete brute. If he was, he would have killed Glenn and his girlfriend no problem.

I see the governor being a *itch. He may look nice on the outside, but on the inside he is eviiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiil.

He din'r them because he wants to know where his brother is. Plus he can't be any good if he's most likely going to torture Glen. the sneak peek for next week showed Glen completely beat up in a chair with Merle in the room. As for Meggy who knows what they'll do to her.

Any sort of likeness I had for Merle, I've lost it. Funny thing is the whole lying to the governor about Michonne will most likely come back to haunt him.

Could just be that Merle figured they'd take him hostage or something and get info out of him about Woodbury and maybe even attack it.
I think he actually cares about the people there, on a whole not individually of course.

Ricks group left him for dead and as far as he knew never even bothered to look for him, I certainly wouldn't trust a group of people that let that happen to me anyway.

He likely wants to find his brother on his own terms so he can have him back and probably get rid of Rick.


To the main group he's a bad guy but overall I think he just aims to protect his own group and himself.
Kind of want him to live...
Or at least live long enough to kill the Governor, seems like he doesn't see eye to eye with him so he's definitely a candidate for his inevitable murder.

I disagree with a lot of that statement. Rick wouldn't go and attack Woodburry he'd have no reason too. Rick handcuffing him was the right choice, he was disgusting in that second episode. It wasn't Rick's fault T-Dogg lost the keys. He might not know it but they did go back for him, he can't make assumptions they did it.

None of that gives him reason to torture Glen as Glen did absolutely nothing wrong.

Like I said Rick wouldn't attack woodburry, he had no reason too. How could they take him hostage if Glen didn't even want to bring him to the prison? He told him to wait there. If he didn't want to trust Glen he could have just told them to let Meggy stay there while he goes to get Daryl, seems more fair than torturing them.

However he changed it all, he kidnapped Glen and Meggy he's provoked Rick's group, so now they have a reason to attack Woodburry.

Plus Glen offered a fair preposition wait there and they'll bring Daryl there, why didn't he just take it?

No I'm not saying Rick would(although now yeah) but as far as Merle knows that could be what Rick would want, Merle won't see cuffing him to the roof as the right choice and so far as he knows never looked for him so he doesn't really know what the group are like now.

Far as he knows they've got 2 trained cops looking to protect their own against inexperienced kids essentially.


He couldn't have expected a warm welcome from the main group could he? He's a racist and was on bad terms with T-Dog and he was left for dead by Rick it's not like they would expect him to be not hold a grudge and since Rick doesn't take any crap now he'd probably have him tied up at least.
Possibly wouldn't go free, but now he has people from Woodbury on his side to help kill the main group.

He won't be expecting Daryl to be an important, respected and loyal member of the group. Will be thinking Daryl is going to come along with him the first chance he gets.

The fact that Daryl is too awesome to ever join Woodbury, I one hundred percent agree. I see Rick's group with three bad asses right now, Rick, Daryl, and Michone

I've got to say, I really liked Merle this episode. Yeah, he may have been a dick, but it just shows how much he loves his brother. He's not willing to risk chasing Michonne deeper into the woods and getting the Governor even more angrier because he realises that doing that would cause him to lose his best shot at finding Daryl. Plus the ''Well, I'll just keep calling you Neil'' cracked me up big time. I dunno, it seems that Phillip is much more suspicious of Merle than Merle is of him. I look forward to seeing how that whole story develops.

I was just waiting for the phone calls. It was interesting how they implemented it. I was hoping to hear Shane or T-Dog, but then Amy and Jim just reminded us of the unfortunate events in Season 1 and the likely beginning of Rick's slow descent into madness. You can't just get over people dying.

Lovely development for Daryl here. We hear about his mother and he's slowly starting to turn into a brother or father figure for Carl.

And Andrea's probably one of the most realistic characters in the series right now. She might not have the coping mechanisms of the main group members; travelling around with Michonne for about 7-8 months must've been tiring and soul-destroying. Then Michonne, her only pillar of support, leaves whereas Andrea stays, wanting some safety and just some place to live. She would turn to the Governor, who's been nice to her, for support.

Nah I don't think Rick will go crazy or anything, he's probably not going to be very merciful towards anyone not from the group though.

I think the calls were just his minds way of dealing with it he won't be over it but it's a big step, basically the acceptance stage of grief.
Really hope they don't call the baby Sofia, not very original lol.

wow if anyone had any sympathy for The Governor it should be gone, what he did was absolutely degrading for Meggy. I'm kind of disappointed Meggy gave in but everyone ends up having a breaking point. Glen was kick *****, can't wait for him to get his revenge on the Governor for Meggy. The ending was mind blowing you can tell things just got serious for both groups.

I can understand why Rick initially acted the way he did to Michone, he doesn't know her so he can't trust her right away.

That scientist was acting dumb removing the restraints I was hoping he'd get bit for his stupidity.

One or more people will probably die next episode, mid season finale, then we wait until February

Granted the Governor didn't go as far as he did in the comics with Michone(one of the few things I do know about the comics. He still went pretty low and in a disgusting direction

Glenn is now officially a badass. In the ranks of Shane/Rick/Daryl now.

Also I've noticed Carl is turning into a pretty cool character, just hope they don't ruin him somehow.

Glenn should definitely get to kill the Governor or at least score a good hit in to him.
He was epic this episode, always liked him anyway but he just went up a level in awesomeness.


I wonder what's going to happen with Andrea now, she seems pretty intent on staying in Woodbury and as far as she's concerned the main group abandoned her...
But then she's not really seen how much of a giant loon the Governor is guess it would take that to show her where she should be.

That pretend scientist guy was just pathetic, clearly there's a lot of people in Woodbury who've never even killed a walker or at least not at close range.


I can't think who's going to die doesn't seem like anyone there should other than the black guy from the prison or Andrea maybe. Hopefully not the former since he's barely done anything it's not like it'll be a sad death...would just be like the guy in the RV at the end of season 2.


I really thought the Governor was going to strangle or stab Andrea at the end there...

Someone that stayed in the prison could die since from the scenes for next episode, obviously something will be going on there

Ok.. now the episode itself was really good. I absolutely loved the Shane cameo, best part of season 3 so far :P (shane fanboy). I honestly didnt expect The Governor to turn on Merle...but oh well...maybe he'll turn into a good guy. Doubt it though, he will probably end up dying to save Daryl as Zero guessed earlier.

Cant wait for February!

Wow new character Tyresse, but anyways let's get to Woodburry. Rick saving Glen and Maggie intense action sequences. Then the Michone and Governor fight was simply amazing! Daryl being caught by the Governor and Merle being called a terrorist!! Can't wait for the second half mid February, I think the Governor is going to be a lot darker than he was before now!

Awesome episode, fight between Gov' and Michonne was brilliant, looks like the Gov' is going to show no mercy what so ever when the show returns.

Lol at the lesbian comment the prisoner guy made he seems harmless enough but I wonder what's going to happen with him.


I'll still watch it but if Daryl dies the show will never be as good.
