I don't really think the violence was excessive. This is setting the tone for a massive tonal shift in the entire series , and the level of violence shown really adds more weight to Negan's introduction and cements him as King S***.

As for Abe, I doubt coming up with the coolest or most appropriate line was in his mind after getting hit.

I thought it was great the way he said it.


It was as though he was thinking "Aw dammit, it's me" rather than whimpering and pissing his pants.

And I guess maybe he was wise enough to not try and truly anger Negan. Imagine what the dude would have done then?

I had Ezekiel spoiled for me by some s***ty mobile game advert.

I put it to the back of my mind thinking "A dude with a f***ing tiger? Yeah like that's real.
But of course it is.

He's pretty cool, glad he isn't actually King Ezekiel that would have been the silliest thing but it's just an act.
Can't wait to see Shiva kill someone. Too quick a death for Negan however.

The whole offering thing for Negan is a bit silly, 8 or so pigs a week? How on Earth could they possibly sustain that? Even if other produce is involved it'd take way too long to grow to satisfy them.

Curious how the Kingdom made a deal with Negan, did they just submit instantly or what? 'Cause surely if you want a man with a tiger to bend to your will...you kill his tiger.

Guess they didn't resist as much as Rick's group but surely a little?

I'm wondering if Daryl's had his tongue cut out. There was two times in the episode where Negan and Dwight seemed to mock Daryl by telling him to talk.

I also wonder how Negan will react when he finds out Maggie is alive. Somehow I don't think Negan is the kind of guy who will take kindly to being lied to

I'm guessing she'll show up later in better health to attack Negan.

I think Daryl is fine he just knows that if he says anything there'll be a cost. If he wanted to go back they'd probably kill or take someone with them in exchange.
Simply put right now he's Negan's property.

Plus he most likely doesn't want to be with the group since his actions got Glenn killed, probably feels like he deserves it or that the group won't accept him.


I just hope Daryl doesn't give in, we've already had an arc of Daryl being "bad" with those dudes that did the whole "claimed" thing.

Yeah I think Daryl is just choosing not to talk, which is probably best. Also, I think the only one Rosita wants to kill are Negan and his men. Isn't she gonna go to Eugene to ask him how to make bullets? For the episode, it was pretty difficult watching Negan being such an a***** and knowing everybody had to take it. I felt a sense of pleasure when Carl pulled a gun on those s***heads (even though it wasn't the smartest move). It's going to be interesting to see where they go from here

Killing Rick and staging some sort of coup makes the most sense even if all options are stupid.

Wonder if she'll get captured...or worse and will realize why they need to cooperate.

One thing I don't understand is if Negan is taking all their food (at least will be in the future), couldn't they just give the Saviors food poisoning? For example, they could grow an isolated crop fertilized with human waste (e.coli poisoning), while growing a crop for themselves outside the wall, in the woods where the Saviors won't see it?

Even if the e.coli doesn't kill them, it would weaken them to the point where they could dispose of the Saviors without much effort.

I doubt that would be enough, they'd have to all get sick at once for it to work out.

If just one guy had some of the infected crop and got sick they could end up realizing and rain hell on Alexandria.

Which is possibly what's going to happen to the Kingdom if they're trying to poison the Saviours.


I wonder if eating walker flesh can turn you in to one? It would most surely make you ill in general but could it make you become a walker...
