Firefox Favourite Manga Dragonball	Spoiler: click to toggle Anyone else think that episode could have been 15 minutes long? The pacing was terrible. I agree with everyone else about Maggie. Beth gets kidnapped and she's just like whatever I'm going to DC. Then today she's sad all of a sudden? Then they do this slow motion walk with Beth in Daryl's arms like the audience is supposed to give a s***. The acting was really hammy too. I've seen stronger performances on Doctor Who. One positive of the episode was that fight between the two cops was good. Apart from that it was slow and predictable.

People have said that about Rick's reaction to Lori's death as well, but I feel that they were both really realistic; Lauren Cohan's a great actress and she really conveyed her emotions well. Maggie? She had so many other things to worry about that were more relevant, so they were the ones that got the screen-time. You heard her talking to Daryl about it in the Season Premiere as well, so it's not like she completely disregarded her. I found the pacing to be fine. The whole build-up over the course of the episode was great, and it was really interesting to see how the different groups acted leading up to the big trade-off.

I've seen how people act and whilst they're all different in their own way, I've never once seen anyone react like that. Now considering the world they are living in, that reaction was over the top. She chewed the scenery like pretty much everyone else in the episode apart from Rick.

I think Emily Kinney captured Beth perfectly; Beth went through a range of emotions throughout the episode and each of them was conveyed really well. I think the actress playing Dawn did a fine job too; the whole scene with O'Donnell and her tone of voice shifting throughout, she just nailed it. So, because you've never seen anyone react in a certain way to the death of a relative, it's unrealistic or bad? I would think that seeing one of your close friends carrying the body of your sister would cause quite a big reaction, no? She'd just been told by Michonne that Beth was alive and that they were getting her back, having the entire trip to get excited and feel happy about it. I think it's unfair to say that the reaction isn't good; it's perfectly realistic.

Emily Kinney looked like a wooden board the whole episode and the police woman would give William Shatner a run for his money. And I said I did know what that looked like. That's why I thought the reaction was over the top. It would have been much better if she'd had a much more subdued reaction. Might have suited her character more. I'm going to blame the director.

Spoiler: click to toggle Might not have been the best acting in the history of TV, but Dawn's performance in that fight was great, especially when her voice cracked and she started to tear up. Beth may have been a little bland, but it's hardly as bad as you're making it out to be. In regards to Maggie's reaction, how subdued do you want it to be? Her standing there gaunt-faced with a single tear rolling down her face? She built up their reunion and was so happy to be able to see her sister again. The several times you've seen somebody react to a situation like that doesn't account for how every person would react, it's only over-the-top based on what you've seen.

Favourite Manga dat boi	Yeah, it's kind of unfair to base an emotional reaction on similar moments you've seen in television. I don't think any of us have ever experienced something like that, so how would we know? All that aside, I really disliked this story arc. I hated everyone at the hospital. I thought it was pretty pointless. And that death was pointless as well (even though I didn't see that character going any further anyway). The beginning of this season was great, but as soon as they got into that Beth hospital stuff it all went down for me. You can't just introduce a huge cast of a***** and expect us to care about their drama.

I should have kept a count of how many times I was saying I Don't Care to the TV about all that stuff. I hope when the shoe comes back from it's break, we get better stuff. Spoiler: click to toggle I know there's speculation the show might follow the Comics and the group will end up outside of DC and go from there, but who knows.

Favourite Manga dat boi	On the Talking Dead they mentioned introducing a prominent gay character from the comics, which could only be a guy from the Alexandria Safe-Zone. So whether or not they travel to DC, I'm assuming they'll be introducing the safe zone at some point in the near future. Maybe not until season 6 though.

I'm waiting until about Two more Seasons before I start reading them, or whenever the show is over... I really don't like spoilers.

Obviously they're just capitalising on the success of the show and hoping everyone who watches TWD will watch this as well (which will most likely be the case), but I don't see the point in doing a carbon copy show that just has a different location and characters. Hopefully they try and be creative with it and make it a show in it's own right, rather than Walking Dead 2.0.

Kind of see how different things were handled and how different the places people would seek refuge in. However, I've also heard about a UK Spinoff Series, which I wouldn't mind either.

It would be interesting to see how the rest of the world has dealt with it. I assume that with the spin-off series, there will be no comic material to use. Internet Explorer Favourite Manga Dragon Ball Z	Yeah, I'm sure it would difficult doing that while still trying to be Original, because most of the time when that's done they end up ripping off the Characters from the main series and it end up bombing. So I hope if this happens, they keep the Characters completely different from what we've seen so far, and it can be done.

They've put out some casting news though, which is great. There are so many things that the main series can't explore, due to holding certain characters as too important, so this spin-off has some great potential. I'm hoping they'll put it in the huge gap between the end of a season and the beginning of the next, though it's probably asking too much for this year.
