Yeah I couldn't care less about Beth she just seems so whiny and weak, she's got a lot stronger mentally but she's still a child really even Carl is more grown up and to me, less annoying than her...


Seriously though if Carol is just pretending to be injured she better not die to save Beth she's way too badass to sacrifice.
However she's at mega high risk after saving the day so many times lately, really really don't want her to die but would be surprised if she didn't soon.

What I think might have happened though is that Daryl and Carol split up and the hospital people attacked Carol, knocking her out and then Daryl seeing from a distance tried to help but only caught one of their group who got abandoned.
Otherwise I'm not sure why the ending with Daryl would be so cryptic about who it was, he seemed in control like they were a prisoner.

I thought this was an interesting episode for the reason Naked Snake gave: I always find it interesting seeing how other groups of people adapted to the outbreak. They seem to be showing the darker side of survivors (cannibalism, slavery, rape) which brings up mixed emotions as a viewer: you obviously are appalled by what they do, but it makes you wonder whether they can be to blame, or whether these are people using the 'end of the world' as an excuse to do these things. The whole zombie/survival thing was interesting for the first couple seasons, but they had to use that as the background and shift to different themes, and I think the writers have done that well.

However, I can see why some people would have been bored or seen it as a slow episode. Beth isn't the most exciting character on the show. It was asking a bit much to have her carry a whole episode, and I think it might have worked better with another, more interesting character. Not every episode can be a 10/10 though and it helps the pacing of the show to put in a slower, more character driven episode every now and then.

Looking forward to seeing what Carol does. She's quickly turning from one of my least favourites to one of the better characters on the show.

EUGENE NO!

I didn't realize how much I liked Eugene until last night's episode. I really hope he doesn't die, it'd be a great loss to the group.

Absolutely loved all the Abraham development we got. He's the darkest survivor in the group by far. Seeing him slowly lose it over the course of the episode was great; Michael Cudlitz really hits home with his performance. Dealing with the anger of the bus crashing and the trouble with the fire engine pushed him slowly over the edge until he snapped at the end and vented all his frustrations by beating Eugene nearly to death. Then we kind of saw the power struggle between him and Glenn rise a little bit when he was adamant about going through that horde of walkers.

Overall, a great episode!

I liked the Abraham stuff but Eugene just being some idiot was obvious.

Never really cared for his character he's just ridiculously pathetic.

Decent episode, it felt a bit too long for all that really happened though.
Damn though how stupid were Abraham's family...

Yeah I was essentially just predicting this every time he spoke. The worried look he had all the time seemed to give it away. I essentially want to see both stories right now with more focus. Switching might get annoying at some point. It's probably gonna shift back to Carol/Beth now.

I loved how Eugene felt the need to add in that extra "I'm smarter than you" what a tool.

Still though if he lives maybe he could become useful if he actually does know a lot of things but since the group can survive just fine anyway how useful could he really be?

I wonder how Abraham is going to deal with life now since his reason for living has just been taken away, I don't think he'll kill himself but he'll probably be like Tyresse was in his crazy days.

Glad Glenn and Maggie will be heading back to the main group although you just know it won't work out that simple

Even though Rick gates a lot of hate, the show would be fairly boring without him.

Also I think walkers are fairly decomposed which is why they can be stabbed through their skulls so easily

If Eugene comes back from his face being smashed how are they going to take care of him? He's going to be wrecked for weeks after that, it'd be amazing if his skull isn't fractured.

I wonder how the group will feel about Abraham after, since they don't know what happened to him in the past they'll just think he's crazy.

Can't see how Eugene didn't deserve that to be honest if they abandon Abraham over it that'll be really sad, it's entirely Eugene's fault that like 6 people or whatever died how could he possibly make up for that?

Also that sex scene just...what a weirdo, what kind of idiot does that in full view?

I wouldn't shed a tear if Eugene died pretty soon either, as for Abraham... he has a good heart, but it was corrupted from the Zombie outbreak and having to kill to survive. Had he stayed with Ricks group, I feel he would've become another Shane. I don't know what should happen to him, but if he acted like that around Rick or did that to one of his people, Rick would put a hole through his head pretty quick.

As for your comment about the sex scene *puts away binoculars* I don't know why anyone could do that... that's pretty messed up.

Yeah I'm very interested to see where his character goes, without any kind of "mission" will he be satisfied with just surviving? I can see them getting in to fights with other humans and him being...a little to happy about excessively beating them to death.

I think most definitely he's going to turn in to another Shane or leave and become a horrible person.

Rick better hope he doesn't have to fight him though he's so losing that fist fight.

Abraham vs Tyresse, imagine that it'd be like two gorilla's duking it out.
God damn make it happen.
Although I like both characters a lot wouldn't want either to die for a good while.

My money is on Tyresse, I think he would beat the holy hell out of Abraham... just tell Tyresse that Abraham wants to kill Judith... that'll be the end of that.
