I honestly don't get how people can say that the first two seasons were the best and everything after that is downhill. It's a popular opinion that I whole-heartedly disagree with. Best season finale since season 2.

Mozilla Firefox Favourite Manga Berserk all day erry day	Yeah it would have been better if they didn't go back to the pointless scenes with Hershel they amounted to nothing. I'd have liked a few minutes of exploring Terminus instead, have it all nice then someone finds a suspicious bone or something plus the watch. Hershel mentioning the watch was the only relevant thing in the flashbacks but they could have done something else, would Rick really remember the watch so fondly? A bone and then the fact that they have loads of meat and no livestock should have been the give away. Really unimpressed with Rick this season, he used to be a cop and he's had his a*** handed to him by an old guy and a crazy guy. He seemed fine after his beating from the Gov' so that's no excuse, the adrenaline of Carl potentially being murdered should have been enough. Guess he'll do some badass stuff next season but still, don't cops get taught Judo? He should be ay tougher than he is.

Spoiler: click to toggle After doing what he did to Joe, he realised that there's this other side of him that isn't going to go away. It showed itself in his confrontation with Tyreese and it's just as much a part of him as the kind father figure we see back in the Prison. Hershel was there to show that there's got to be a balance, and the flashbacks double up as a regret for Rick. He wasn't cautious enough for the Governor's retaliation and, thus, they lost the Prison and everything they had, Hershel and the sense of happiness and community included.

Biting the guys neck is like his only high point in combat, he couldn't even shoot the Governor when in season one he was headshotting zombies with the revolver while running, done it a few times and from basically the same distance as he was from the Governor. Judo or not they're all supposed to know self defense techniques like how to disarm someone and subdue them and he's done nothing like that he's been utterly useless without having a weapon.

He wrestled and killed Shane. Strangled a guy in a bathroom. Managed to survive and take care of himself despite having cracked/broken ribs for a few weeks. Those are three things that I thought of off the top of my head in about a minute. I'm sure I could think of a lot more.

Mozilla Firefox Favourite Manga Berserk all day erry day	Shane who just smashed his head off a tree and that fight was a major challenge, not that it isn't a good show of ability but he's not beat many people in a straight fight without some kind of an advantage. Guy he strangled was sitting taking a dump and he had the trophy to hit him with, huge advantage and then there was something there to strangle him with. He's an excellent zombie killer but not at all good against humans unless using weapons.

Like, should he just choose to fight other people without weapons just to show how strong he is? And besides all that, I still think he's pretty good. I wouldn't say he's as tough as Shane, but he's definitely not bad. He just doesn't want to risk anything. (and he was still injured in the recent episodes)

Mozilla Firefox Favourite Manga Berserk all day erry day	Well obviously it would be dumb to not use weapons but whenever he doesn't have any he's completely useless, given that he's the semi main character it's a bit pathetic really. He barely managed to fight back against Gov' when he had only one eye and just worked in an office or something, and just killed basically his best friend at the time. Shane was definitely the muscle of the group. I wonder what happens to Judith with these cannibals... Actually where is Judith? Surely she would have been crying or Rick would have noticed her right away anyway so she must not be there. Surely they won't...dispose of her...presumably they'd raise her to be one of them.
