He thinks by doing so any kind of explanation would turn the story even more science-fu or magic like, and take away any realism it might still have left. Didn't episode 6 of season 1 talk a little about the virus? He mentioned how it took everyone different amount of time to transform and all that

Google Chrome and Firefox	I will post my opinion about the first episode in here. Spoiler: click to toggle I am extremely annoyed with Rick on the borderline of disliking him. I understand that Lori made some mistakes, but it was not all her fault. The fact that he was selfish enough to force her to keep the baby is beyond ridiculous. I feel really bad for her running around 9 months pregnant. If Rick would have allowed her to do what she wanted, then it would have been better for everyone else. Some of the characters are still a mystery to me. Right now, I have like no favorite characters. The only ones I can tolerate are Daryl, Glen, and the girl with glen. Hopefully, the other characters can get more spotlight like the dark guy.

Spoiler: click to toggle Yeah I thought that was pretty dickish of Rick, who knows what could happen to the baby(besides people who read the comics...) if it dies during birth then that's a zombie baby or it could just be born that way. And on the off chance that it's ok there's not a lot of hope for them to be able to look after it... I don't get why they wasted so much ammo killing the walkers in the prison field, they were spaced out enough for group melee kills. Also what was in the can Carl opened? Guess it's some American thing...don't get why it was bad of him to open it even if it was dog food or something.

I recall in season 2 where Rick told her that if abortion is really what she wanted then he wouldn't force her to anything, but it's something they should discuss not her keep it a secret for him. Forgetting how much Lairi kept messing UBS with Ricks mind on the whole Shane situation, then she treated him like crap after he had been forced to kill Shane. The whole group was always on top of him for every little thing, yet his concern has always been what's best for the group. I don't think it was unfair if Rick at all, he didn't force her to do anything. He spoke his mind how he preferred to have the baby but never forced her to

Internet Explorer Favourite Manga Dragon Ball Z	Laurie made the decision to throw up those pills, Rick didn't even know she was pregnant until he saw the pill boxes...then by the time he confronted her about it, she had already thrown them up...already making the decision to keep the baby. So, Rick never made Laurie keep the baby, Laurie made Laurie keep the baby. I think Rick killing was 100% Justified, right from Season 1, Shane pretty much thought Rick would be better off dead, and he should be with Laurie and Carol. We saw that when Shane had Rick in his scope and was about to pull the trigger, then everything after the CDC Shane was always pushing and questioning Ricks judgement...you could tell it was just a matter of time before Shane tried something. I really expected Shane to try something a lot sooner, or at least they shouldn't have been on the farm as long as they were imo, it would have been interesting to see Shane try to kill Rick while they were on the move Post Farm. Also, I also did think Carol was a bit annoying, but I did like him bringing up that him and Rick had been shot...when he said that I bursted out laughing, then Ricks response just made it even funnier. However, I did think it was a nice touch showing how this world is changing Carol, him saying he would've put down Sophia and when he was trying to encourage Rick to kill Randall...other than that I didn't like Carol at all in Season 2.

Might be a reason for that. i was a bit ticked off at laurie for thinking that rick was gonna forgive her rebuffing him like that when he told her about shane. it made me go wtf? why is she pretending shane had no intention on removing rick from the group? he already took over the mans family, and got jealous over some pantie action when he realized it was finished. I think he was lucky laurie let him in, in the first place, or does that explain the kind of person she really is?

I mean, I didn't like Hershel getting bitten at all, but he got bit in the exact same place as Dale in the GN. The Prison looks magnificent. The Riot Walker that Rick took out made me reel a little bit, the face came off! And in reference to the amputation; Spoiler: click to toggle The bite has nothing to do with the infection. They're all already infected and will turn if they die by any other method than destroying the brain. The bite is just the most effective way of killing the person; the walkers are probably rife with diseases and infections. The amputation was to assure that Hershel wasn't infected by anything nasty.

You can get the first eight volumes of The Walking Dead for $35.99 and then the next eight for $35.99 as well. I'm thinking about getting this because I still need to catch up on the comic, Im pretty far behind right now...

Even if the babies were in someway or somehow born with a cure which I don't think that's it, who would create the cure? Not only would they need to find scientist, they'd need to find a proper lab as well. I don't think this show will ever get to Lamd of the Dead type of thing, they are trying to keep the show/comics as realistic as they possibly can with the idea of zombies. Honestly if they started making zombies smarter, I feel like it might destroy the show
