That scene with Rick in the house was awesome could cut the tension with a knife.
It's a little unbelievable that the guy wouldn't notice two people walking around at the end there but whatever not like people are smart or aware in this series.
That Eugene guy though, thought for sure he was going to get killed there what an idiot.
They've been in the zombie filled world over a year and he still hasn't learned how to shoot?
Guess he needs protected for a reason...
I don't think Daryl should die right now not sure who should but Maggy or Glenn I wouldn't mind. Carol maybe though since she's just come back she's probably got immunity for a couple of episodes at least.
So what recent things have happened in the TV show that didn't at all happen in the comics? Just how different is it?

Spoiler: click to toggle Daryl dying will be a huge moment in the series, I'd be stunned if it happened at any point other than a season finale to get the maximum impact from it. Still, there's no real way to tell when they'd do that exactly.
These new guys seem really interesting, looking forward to seeing more of them.

I still don't like Carl but bear with him now.
But I get the feeling there's going to be a "You're not my mom!" scene with he and Michonne at which point full hatred will be restored.

Spoiler: click to toggle Not necessarily. Just because he's the "main character" doesn't mean he has immunity. I actually think they may kill him off at some point once they develop a few more characters. I can't see them doing it anytime soon though because we don't exactly have the best cast going at the moment.
I'm really concerned for Glen and Maggie, though. They're my favorites, but I get the feeling that one of them will die this season or next.

This episode could have been done in like 20 minutes. Only high point was the end really.
I thought they had evacuation points set up? Like where to go if the prison goes to s***, they mentioned places like that for the bus to go to so why aren't the survivors all heading there to see if there are more?
It sounded like they had everything set up but they've all just went nah f*** it lets do our own thing and get depressed about everyone dying.

Spoiler: click to toggle Yea, I'm not feeling the Beth/Daryl romance that everyone keeps going on about. I'm definitely believing that it's more of a brother/sister thing.
People online (even professional critics) kept going on about how there was "sexual tension through the whole episode", and I seriously think they're as drunk as Beth was, because I didn't feel that at all at any point in time.
One detail that people seemed to miss in this episode was that little souvenir spoon that Beth picked up at the Country Club. The reason I bring it up was because the spoon had The Capitol Building on it (in Washington DC).
Abraham already stated that they're on their way to Washington DC. Since Daryl admitted that he's never been outside Georgia, I have a feeling that Beth at some point in time is going to convince him that they should go to DC to start fresh. They'd inadvertently run into Abraham and possibly Glenn.
About the whole "Rick's the main character" thing from Master Gohan, ObsessiveFanGirl's right. Even Andrew Lincoln ("Rick") and Robert Kirkman (creator) said that it will happen at some point in time, and that The Walking Dead would live on without Rick.

I'd prefer it if they had a happy ending, well, "ending" just they meet up with Judith and go off to survive and that's the last seen of them.
Surely someone should have a happy ending.
Yeah I agree there was just no sexual tension, isn't she like 16? I know it's legal but I don't get why male character A + female character A has to end in romance. Just because they're there doesn't mean they have feelings for each other.
I would say brother/sister or uncle/niece relationship is what they have, more so the latter.
I liked the Daryl development...but did it really have to take the whole episode? Hope they meet up with Carol and Tyresse, that would certainly brighten Daryls disposition and helping with the kids would get Beth out of the way.

Beth's 18. She was 16 when she was introduced in season 2.

Great episode! I'll admit, even though I went into the episode expecting Daryl and Beth to be fine at the end of it, I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. It's great to see more Daryl development as well, seeing him break down was saddening and when Beth was giving him advice on how to deal with the pain, I saw it as an interesting parallel.

I actually liked this episode, and sometimes it's important to have an episode like this to allow for the plot to keep moving forward.
It's kind of important to learn certain character's back stories in order to see what makes them who they are.

I was wondering if they ever have any time to sleep, coz it almost seems like they're keeping an eye out all night and then running around all day.

I'm just glad they're finally beginning to develop these characters. The Walking Dead has always been weak about that - introducing characters that no one cares about and killing them off. No impact whatsoever.
