That's my point, they should have tried to quell his anger by getting her to explain it and apologize, of course he would never be ok with it but it could have calmed him down a little, He's only going to get angrier and angrier as it is now, he attacked Rick over nothing.

What happens when he sees someone out at night when they shouldn't be? He's going to assume they did it.
He's going to be very mad at Rick now.
The way Rick dealt with it is just going to add more fuel to the fire which obviously the group doesn't need right now.


The people in isolation could still pose a major threat, even if they turned they can still spread the sickness and they would have to be killed. Putting them all in isolation like that was just incubating it really.
The humane route isn't always the smartest.

I agree with you about Carol. If she had made it back to the camp, she would have been dead anyway. There was no way anyone was stopping Tyrese from killing her.

@Steve- Tyrese made it clear that he wanted justice for whoever had done it. He almost killed Rick for not doing anything. The other members of the group wouldn't have felt safe with Carol nearby them either because she was capable of killing their own before they were dead. Meg admitted that Rick did the right thing.

I watched last night's episode today. It picked up this episode which I've been waiting for since the start of the season. I feel like their stay at the prison is over. It doesn't seem safe anymore because of the damage done to the fences.

Seeing the governor, made things spicier. I am wondering what he has planned for the prison.

Hershel really shined in this episode, and we finally get to see him in full action. Scott Wilson (actor who plays him) is 71, and did all his own stunts for this episode.
That's remarkable at his age.

Hershel's just a boss, he should get an award for MVP.

I definitely think it was one of the best episodes so far.

My housemate was mentioning to me earlier, that he feels that Hershel's character development has completely stalled and he hasn't had any obstacles to overcome for quite a while now. It was the perfect episode to satisfy him in that sense. Great episode, best of the season so far. My one problem was the ending, I thought it was a little cheesy

Well that was tense, thought for sure Hershel was going to die.

I still think he will but he's certainly earned a break with this episode...


I think they're going to stay at the prison, at least until Gov' does something depending what it is.
With this episode it seems more to me like they can overcome the odds not that it's not safe anymore.

The Governor is probably going to take out a major character while the others are away getting ammo or something, I suspect they might have to go back to that black guys place because they'll need to start shooting the walkers more often, he'll no doubt aim for such an opening.

Also c'mon there's nobody in the towers to see Gov' at the end there...?

Who do you think is going to take him out in the end? In the comics, Michonne certainly deserves to but in this series so does Daryl. I hope they both hunt him down although it's quite likely one of them may be killed.

I feel it should be Daryl who takes him out because of how tragic Merle's death was to him.

As for the governor being taken out, I think Carol might do it unexpectedly. I see her making her way back to the prison and taking him out to redeem herself to the group. Rick is probably going to tell Tyrese. It may take Tyrese some time to cool down. We will see though if Carol does progress to the group.

I originally thought she may turn on the prison group, but then I remembered the little girl from last night. It is highly doubtful that she would.

@Light- I agree. The show is at its best when you have two opposing sides discussing one major topic.

With that said, I thought Hershel's decision to try to keep everyone alive was what most would have done in his situation. He was a doctor before the Apocalypse, therefore, his mindset of wanting to save everyone stuck with him.

It almost hurt the entire group, but I don't blame him for trying to keep them holding on as much as he could. He managed to save Greg in the process which meant his efforts didn't go in vain.

I think Hershel is probably the most important asset on the team mainly because of his knowledge in the medical field.

He's certainly the most experienced medical practitioner anyway that Bob guy probably only knows kind of basic stuff.
As basic as doctor work gets anyway.


I was hoping Tyresse would go in and see all the devastation caused by the infection and have some kind of moment of clarity about why whoever killed the two people did it.


Also, why does it keep looking at Ricks hand? It's odd.
Remember there was a bloody hand print at the scene of the murders...(pretty sure he hurt his hand on Tyresse) Carol never had an injured hand or anything and it's not like it fit her hand size.
And that scene in the episode before this where Rick was seeing a body being pulled about or was doing it, standing in the dark(I don't get what was happening there)

It seems as though Rick might have done it in actuality but Carol took the fall, not knowing. That would be a cool twist.
Carol fits the Mother Hen type, she would want to protect everyone by saying it was her.

Makes sense to me, odd that Carol could pull it off alone but Rick certainly could.
Maybe he's gone a bit crazy, could happen.

People aren't always going to be looking over the tower even if they were doesn't mean they'd spot the Governor.


I think this was a fantastic episode. I can see the Governor being killed in the mid season finale with the group being forced to leave the prison, I think the Governor will kill at least one main character.

Finally some action. Governor will be back and that will mean something good. Haven't enjoyed this season so much so far, just them getting a disease and fighting zombies. Boring. The Governor means some real conflict and it should be great.
