And no Trunks powering up and Goten almost blowing himself up doesn't ate him a ssj2, and the perfect files or anime never said they were a ssj2. It did say they were ssjs and inferior to Pan. It also did say that Pan, Gohan, Goku, and Vegeta improved from 17 to Shenrons not the boys or Majuub
