I love the anime Case Closed. It's about a teenage detective named Jimmy Kudo who gets turned into a pint sized gum shoe kid named Conan Edogawa from a poison given to him by the Black Organization for witnessing a crime they were commiting. Luckly the poison didn't kill him, it shrunk him instead. His mind fortunately didn't regress along with his body, it remained sharper than ever. Jimmy, who know must go under the alias of Conan, know spends the rest of the series trying to track down the Black Organization so he can get a sample of the poison they gave him and give it to his good friend the Doc, (who happens to be a genius), so he can create a cure. Conan also has to concern himself with keeping his identity a secret from his best friend Rachel Moore, which proves to be difficult because he has no choice but to move in with her and her father, Richard Moore, (who also happens to be a detective...an average one), so he can find clues that may lead him to the Black Organization. It's one awesome anime! I wish they would've made a complete series, but there were only five seasons and six movies made...which kind of left you hanging. Despite its short life it's still one of my favorite animes because the world of detectives has always fascinated me; I love trying to put clues together to solve a crime. Any one else watch it...and why do you enjoy it? Edited by Shmootz, Jun 26 2012, 08:38 AM.

I loved it. The teenager Jimmy was just epic. It was just an interesting show and was a mystery, which alot of animes aren't, so it was different. It also had some good plot turns and I also loved trying to guess who the culprit was myself while watching the show. Great show! |

It is good as well.as all 15 movies. The manga is almost on 900 chapters. So long. |

Right on Nicholas D. Wolfwood. I'm glad someone else besides myself loves that show (which was way to short lived in my opinion). Were those so awesome mysterys or what...so elaborate. You're absolutally right, that show did rock. Just out of being a curious kind of guy, what was your favorite episode/mystery, and movie? My favorite episode/mystery had to be The Night Baron Mystery parts 1,2,3. My favorite movie had to be The Last Wizard Of The Century. |
