So in an effort to get him to stay Joe sent him a letter with his piggy bank money. The money wasn't enough to get Jacobs to stay with the Giants but Joe did get a signed helmet when he met him in person and spent the day with him. http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-shutdown-corner/young-brandon-jacobs-fan-gets-3-36-back-061716774--nfl.html Brandon Jacobs went on to say that fans like Joe are what help motivates him to keep playing. "I'm at a point in my career when people have stopped believing in me and not believing that I can still play. But that's not the case. Firefox	Yeah I heard that happened, turns out Brandon Jacobs is a teddy bear instead of a muscle head who likes to plow over people for a living. It was actually a pretty touching story, and the kid made some money and saw an NFL star... pretty epic!
