Posts: 5,568 Group: Suspended Member #5,921 Joined: March 29, 2011 Favourite Anime dbz What Browser do you use? ie9 Favourite Manga akira	exactly, and no king of saiyans, goku didnt become for kids until MUCH later. when he got famous in america is when it really took off. Otherwise it was just another manga. They americanized it for kids, (anime too) and then marketed goku as the hero. Well, since toriyamas favorite character is goku then his story is gonna reflect that. But pretty soon, Goku was as popular as the power rangers. he was selling things on tv from Toys to being a side kick for a safety video. Goku was marketable. and the guys directly responsible for making his toys arent gonna make him a loser in the movies with his name on them. even when he takes a pummeling and comes back for more. Which is what toriyama built into him. He's the super underdog.

If the multipliers for SSJ are what we think we are, then something just might end up like this: For Buu Saga: Goten < Chibi Trunks <<<<<< SSJ Boys <<< Base Vegeta <<<<< Piccolo << SSJ2 Vegeta <<<<< Gotenks (post) << Full Power Base Goku <= Chou Gohan <<<<< SSJ Goku <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< SSJ3 Goku It's just the Toei truth, my friends. So basically, the "surpressed SSJ3 Goku" in the anime should be alot weaker then Full Power Anime Base Goku. Nothin Favourite Manga Nothin	As far as I knw, TOEI pretty much realized their protagonists respective fanbases. Vegeta has huge fanbase over the years & is extremely popular among DBZ fans, due to his anti-hero appearance, arrogance, sheer pride & on top of all, his fights. At least in DBZ, I can say TOEI did justice to Vegeta (except the movies). GT however screwed him.

Goku was white bread like Jason, good to the end, pulled it out his behind when overwhelmed, and willing to risk his body to protect his friends (kaioken - gold ranger powers)

He did become the leader of the PR I think people should protest, force animators to make a more than decent movie on Vegeta killing a villian of his own and protecting the planet when Goku is gone AND DOESN'T somehow get involved.

Jason saved him va the goat when he took the sword of power under Zedds control. Jason only left the candle Tommy couldn't beat Goldar for because Tommy was going to "die if he didn't save him" in Zacks words, and then he beat his brain and powers in Where in the world is Zel Ranger 5 as well with unstable and whining Gold Ranger powers that weren't fit for human DNA. And it has been confirmed at morphicon panels that they wanted Jason to be the leader in turbo but couldn't make cash work Vegeta got to lead the team and be the man when Goku wasnt around too. The battle with Frieza, Gero, and being the strongest person alive in his own words on Babadis ship. Doesn't change the fact Goku, like Jason was painted as the better leader and the one who couldnt be turned or tempted by darkness. I personally still wish they would have made Bojack a saga over a movie in the 7 year gap, and had Vegeta save the day by going ssj2 Edited by Kblo247, Jun 6 2012, 05:56 AM.

Yeah i agree, like maybe he should of been the one to kill Broly in movie 10. Would of made up the fact that toei made him a complete wuss in movie 8. Nothin Favourite Manga Nothin	If Vegeta has a kill in DBZ universe, at least durin his glory in arrogance as he was in Android or Cell Saga, before he turned inot a full-fledged hero, he would deem anyone & everyone in universe a specks of dusts beneath his footsteps. Thats how he is, his character goes. TOEI actually reined him, which was actually a good work IMO.
