I just wanted to know what the HFIL Toei was thinking when they animated certain things. Did they just not care, or are they fanboys? Example: Bootenks vs. Goku Seriously? Goku is vastly inferior to Bootenks, yet Goku can dodge his attacks with no problem, and fire a ki blast at him. Why didn't Goku just kill Bootenks himself? Second Example: Yamcha vs. Olibu Olibu is at least at Pikkon's level, and Pikkon one shotted Super Perfect Cell. Yamcha > Super Perfect Cell? Alright. That's retributive karma for Vegeta stealing his woman. Third Example: Vegeta and Goku vs. Super Boo This has to be the worst one because it implies that SSJ Goku > Super Boo, which is outrageous. |

All I can do is shake my head. TOEI isn't smart you see. No offence, but after all, they made GT. Without Toriyama's involvement, most fillers are of no different: brain-less. |

Without Toriyama, they can't even make a coherent story that doesn't bomb in the ratings. (GT) And Toei is stupid, no doubt about it. |

Toei makes normal Frieza in Hell. Toei makes Andriod 20 as an Android. They clearly dont care. |

They weren't going for consistency, obviously. They were just killing time for the manga to catch up. |

Toei just wanted to make entertainment for kids at the time. I don't think they ever really considered people would be debating the show like this one day. |

I agree with TGZ, I doubt they ever even thought about that stuff. They just had to make filler for 30minutes. Obviously a vast majority of the kids watching the show liked Goku the best (because he is the main character) so making a lot of fight scenes with him fighting really strong enemies isnt a dumb move. |
