This guy has literally tons of followers on youtube and I have previously posted one of his videos on here to show you how idiotic he is. Now however, I am taking it a step further. I am going to make a couple of threads and cover a few of his videos and prove why he is wrong. I'm going to start off with the argument he makes about the spirit bomb to prove that Kid Buu is the strongest unfused character in dbz and subsequently stronger than Super Buu. His whole argument hinges on the fact that the energy collected from Gohan and co for the spirit bomb, wasn't enough to kill Kid Buu and that he only powered up once the giant spirit bomb was thrown at him. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_CeGD...eature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BAXnb...eature=related (Skip to 9:47). He thinks that since the spirit bomb had Gohan's energy in it, Kid Buu>Gohan. But there is one MAJOR problem. Here's the spirit bomb with Gohan and co's energies; http://www.manga-access.com/manga/D/.../chapter/516/1 http://www.manga-access.com/manga/D/.../chapter/516/5 And here's the spirit bomb vs Frieza; http://www.manga-access.com/manga/D/.../chapter/316/8 http://us.i1.ma.alcdn.net/manga/294/10651/db27_045.gif In dbz the greater the size of the spirit bomb, the more powerful it is. So logically if the spirit bomb used raw power as such, the spirit bomb post Gohan and co should have been bigger than the spirit bomb on Namek vs Frieza right?...unless Frieza is stronger than Ultimate Gohan because he survived the spirit bomb on Namek? *chuckles*. As for him not powering up untill the spirit bomb, the only reason he wasn't wiped out straight away by the spirit bomb was because Goku was too weak to push it. Not because he wasn't already powered up previously; Chapter: 516 (DBZ 322), P8.2 Context: as Boo stops the Genki-Dama Vegeta: “I didn’t pla-plan on this…! Kakarot doesn’t have the sta-stamina to fire that all-important Genki-Dama…!” Anyway the spirit bomb is stupid and full of inconsistencies such as Goten, Trunks, Gohan and Piccolo not fusing/going SSJ/not powering up so logically if the spirit bomb used raw Ki, It would have benefited more from powering up. __________________________________________________ __ Now I'm going to talk about his argument for Kid Buu 'not trying'. http://www.manga-access.com/manga/D/...chapter/511/10 Kid Buu is shown to be completely exhausted after he fires a kamehameha (which Goku confronts and survives btw which supports Goku being Kid Buu's equal). Also in the prior me-lees Kid Buu is shown using his chocolate beam against Goku out of frustration. Some people consider this a gag scene purely because Kid Buu and Goku are shown biting each other prior to the chocolate beam. But Kid Buu biting Goku perfectly demonstrates his animality/ruthlessness. So basically SSJ3 Gotenks>=Super Buu, SSJ3 Goku>=Kid Buu, SSJ3 Gotenks>>SSJ3 Goku, Ultimate Gohan>SSJ3 Gotenks thus; Ultimate Gohan>SSJ3 Gotenks>=Super Buu>>SSJ3 Goku>=Kid Buu. This is backed up by numerous quotes by Goku stating that he was no match for Super Buu while he was a match for Kid Buu. __________________________________________________ __ Now to his argument that the Kais don't strengthen Buu. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DTUvy...eature=related Lets start with this; Chapter: 508 (DBZ 314), P4.2-7 Kaioshin: “In m…my era there were five Kaioshins…until they were defeated by the Majin Boo that the wizard Babidi created…I was the youngest and most powerless one, but I somehow survived, with only heavy injuries…But the other four fell to Boo…First, two were killed…the North Kaioshin and the West Kaioshin….And then the South Kaioshin, the burliest and strongest one, was…somehow absorbed by Boo….. “ Elder Kaioshin: …And he became that huge Boo from before? “ Kaioshin: “…Yes…Next to be absorbed was the fat but kind and gentle Dai-Kaioshin….The Majin Boo that Bibidi created was evil itself, a failed creation that even Bibidi himself couldn’t handle, but by absorbing the Dai-Kaioshin, he somehow become controllable…. “ Elder Kaioshin: “…So he was finally complete…Which is to say…that this current…small Majin Boo…is the initial…mo…most troublesome one…” Kaioshin: “….Yes…the heart which he gained by going so far as to lower his power through absorption…has returned once again to the way it was…he has no self-control whatsoever…he has become evil itself…” 1. The only Kai ever said to have had a damaging effect on Buu was Dai Kaio. 2. It is only said that the Kais made him more controllable and it is heavily suggested that only Dai Kaio made him weaker. 3. DBFights lies by saying it is stated in the Japanese manga that the Kais weakened Buu. As for the Potara fusion splitting, that was purely because Vegetto didn't exist in a pod like Gotenks did because he put up a barrier preventing the absorption. I believe that if Gotenks had did what Vegetto did, their fusion would have split. As for Dabura's statement; Chapter: 447 (DBZ 253), P11.1-3 Context: talking about how Yamu and Spopovitch were followed by Goku and co. Dabra: “Seems they’re trying to hide from us…In total…there are 7. We can’t use Kaioshin and Kibito’s energy…But 3 of them seem to have marvelous energy…” Babidi had no knowledge of Buu's appearance therefore he didn't know about Buu's absorption of the Kais THEREFORE he didn't know that the Kai's weakened him so there is no reason that Dabura should know. Also he appears to be talking about the amount of energy they have. He knows that since the Kais were no match for Buu, that Kaioshin and Kibito wouldn't have sufficient energy to revive Buu. Besides this he could have been talking about the purity of their energy or the fact that the Kai's weren't mortals as such. Also after Buu reverts back to Kid Buu, it appears that Goku notices a decrease in his Ki (weaker than Super Buu); Chapter: 508 (DBZ 314), P3.4-6 Context: after Boo reverts to his pure form Vegeta: “……Heh…Heheheh…Look! He’s shrunk down quite a bit!” Goku: “We did it! This way, we might be able to manage something.” Although Vegeta is referring to his size, Goku confirms that they might now be able to take him as opposed to when he is regular Super Buu...; Chapter: 506 (DBZ 312), P12.4-5 Context: after Goku and Vegeta revert Boo back to regular evil Boo Goku: “Hehhe~~eh! With this, Boo’s power should have fallen significantly! We’re almost there! See, see: the size of his ki is completely different than before!” Vegeta: “Alright! Let’s blast out of here and escape!” Goku: “Wait! Even though Boo has returned to normal a whole lot, we’re still simply no match for his strength! If we go outside like this, we’ll definitely be done in…!” ...or Buff Buu; Chapter: 507 (DBZ 313), P13.5 Context: as evil Boo reverts to his South Kaioshin form Goku: “H-hey…Vegeta…His ki is increasing, ain’t it…!?” Chapter: 508 (DBZ 314), P1.3 Context: evil Boo continues to revert to his South Kaioshin form Goku: “…H-hey…He’s changed into an awfully bulky guy…” So to say that South Kaioshin didn't increase Buu's power is moronic. Well that pretty much sums up my opinion on the matter and his theory. |
