Super Saiyan among Super Saiyans

Ultimate Gohan had the same mindset of SSJ2 Kid Gohan. Both wanted to make the villain suffer for torturing/killing his friends and family. Consequently, the villain became stronger due to not finishing the job. If Ultimate Gohan is a failure, then SSJ2 Kid Gohan is one too. The way I see it is that his mission was an absolute failure, but he himself isn't a failure. Being the strongest unfused being in the universe is an accomplishment, and the look on Piccolo's face when Gohan was beating up Buu was priceless
We Super Saiyans are in a league of our own.

No. He is a sadistic freak unlike anything he had ever seen from Vegeta, Piccolo, Goku, and Krillin. Powered up Mystic and SSJ 2 Fighting Teen Gohan is a true saiyan that King Vegeta and Bardock before the head blow would be throw parades for. He just didn't delight in the kill, he took pleasure in the breaking down of the opponents psyche which is why both Cell and Buu cracked up on him. The end game is always people he cares about dying or getting hurt and him looking like a baboon who needs to grow up.

I think the reason why Ultimate Gohan wasn't able to finish the job because once again Goku had to be the hero. I'm not saying Goku isn't a great hero, but it just makes Gohan look bad every single time. There were so many times Gohan had the potential to exceed everyone's expectations and then they are let down. Gohan is a fighter in his own right. When he went mystic, I thought he should have been the one to finish the job because he is part of the newer generation. It happens with a lot of the characters throughout the show. They aren't able to get the job done or finish their fights because Goku needs to save the day.

Whenever Gohan has the upper hand he likes to drag fights out and make his opponents suffer but it gets people killed :/. If Future Trunks had Gohan's power he wouldn't play around, he'd get stuff done.
Hmmm what if Future Trunks came back from the Future again and Gohan actually didnt survive the blast from Fat Buu and Trunks went to supreme kai's planet instead of Gohan and transformed into Mystic Trunks hmmmm lol this comment just put a lot of ideas in my head but i do really like Mystic Gohan despite how everything turned out and hence my username mystickaioken

Mystic Gohan has no decisive victories = Failure. His ONLY opponent ran away and returned to absorb him and kill him later. Mystic Gohan is a failure in the same way Gotenks is a failure. Neither won any fights despite the epic build up to their characters.
