Toei Plotholeception?

Okay, so we know that HFIL is a big plothole in the Toei anime because Goku stated in the manga that villains don't keep their bodies. (Seriously, villains getting to keep their bodies and being able to cause trouble like they do in the anime is just illogical)

Now, when you die in the Toei anime, you go to Hell in the form that you died in.

Evidenced by Babiddi, SPC, and King Cold.

Now here's the plothole.

Freeza died as Mecha Freeza, yet he's clearly not Mecha Freeza in Hell.

You could argue that mechanical attachments are stripped from the body, but then Dr. Gero would just be a brain, or a normal human, but he's an Android.

It's a plothole within a plothole.

Plotholeception.

I think Gero was a human in GT because he didn't have the little absorbers on his palms.

Cooler was also in his organic form.

I thought about that (Cooler), but Cooler still had half of his head when he died, so even if it sounds out there, I think it makes sense that he would die and come back in an organic form.

Dr. Gero is seen briefly in the Boo Saga without his hat though, and it's still that weird glass brain, so I assumed he was still robotic.

Shame on GT making movies canon though.

Hm. The real problem would be Gero being strong at all if he's not an android anymore.

When Super 17 kills him, some pieces from his android side falls out of his body. Also dbz filler has Gero as android which doesnt make sence for Freiza not beeing Mecha. Toei never looks in details because they simply dont care about logic.

There's also the plothole of Android 19 being in Hell, which makes no sense at all either.

Yeah. Exactly. Toei can go to HFIL themselves.

The modifications to Gero's body made him half human, half robot. An android, basically. He had a biomechanical brain, and arguably biotechnological limbs or other organs.

The modifications made to Freeza's body were prosthetic limbs and other parts, not making him half robot, half ice demon.

Basically, if you get your leg cut off, and you replace it with a prosthetic limb, they'll give you back your organic limb when you get to the afterlife

If you get your entire body rewired and modified with biotechnology, you're basically remodeling your body.

That's my explanation.

This is acceptable actually. It makes sense.

Although there was stuff being done to Freeza's brain, mechanically, which in my eyes makes him sort of a cyborg.

Seriously, the anime shows that Freeza had half his face, and the top part of his brain blown up.

lunar2 has a good theory about Freeza that he can move his vital organs around his body, which was how he could survive being cut in half, or I think that it was that his vital organs are contained in different spots, I forgot which one, but either works. Chances are Freeza's brain is snuggled up tightly in the other half of his face, or in some other random spot in his body.
