No Bootenks, No Boohan, No Vegito, No Kid Boo, No Oob, No pathetic end of DBZ.

I realize that. But would it have been a satisfying end?

Novacane for the pain

I think a character sitting around for a day doing nothing and then getting a giant amount of power doesn't deserve to beat the villain. Sorry, but at least with all the heroes they did some training and put in the hard yards before getting Super Saiyan or whatever. It would have been a pretty depressing ending as well imo with Goku still being dead.

Also, I really liked the ending to DBZ. I prefer to GT's ending tbh.

Sorry for disagreeing, but i believe that someone who has the patience to stand still for 26 hours deserves something!
I think that,if it was decided for the series to end there, the fight Gohan vs Super Buu wouldn't be one sided.

It would've been anti-climatic. They should've switched Gohan's failure with Vegeta's sacrifice, and it would've been a beautiful ending.

But I've seen some fanboys claiming DBZ was all about Gohan's maturation, frm wimpy kid to a teenager to a matured adult, it was his era, so the final touch should be handed over to him.

Gohan was a cocky douche when he returned to Earth, which is what happened last time he got an uber power-up in SSjin 2. He was doomed to repeat history.

As anti-climatic it would've been, it would've satisfied Gohan fans at least.

As much as they were enraged at Goku takin the spotlight frm his son in late Boo Saga, at least DBZ's popularity could've shot up.

I have proof. I checked Kanzentai, the episode that Gohan came & pounded Super Boo had a drastic rise in rating: frm 12% to 17%.

That was in Japan & Im sure there are equally huge Gohan fanbase in England & States.

Destroying the villain less than 10 episodes after he came into the story would have been anti-climatic too.

Not really, I think it would have been a terrible end. Buu saga Gohan just isn't a fighter, I like Gohan but I don't like the idea of him destroying the last villain in DBZ considering he had given up his fighting for studying. This doesn't apply to the Cell Saga since Gohan had spent almost his entire life up until then training to beat villains, including Cell. But the last villain deserved to be killed by a true warrior imo. I'd rather have Goku who had spent his entire life training beat Buu than Gohan who spent 24 hours training with a sword and then another 24 just sitting down.

Not to mention the fight was completely one sided which makes for a terrible final battle. I seriously can't think of a better person to end the series than the main character.

Oh I see. Actually, it occured to me that Boo Saga took a nosedive due to Gohan's failure to to the main protagonist.

Anyhow, lookin at the comments makes me feel that Goku in fact deserves the spotlight, & that was my point in doin this..Thx guys...
