Goku had SSJ3 at the time, so there's no telling exactly what happened down there. wrong and the daizenshu said so also. Goku and pikkon defeated broly in hell. not accepting movie 12 as follow up to movie 11 despite the evidence doesnt change what is.

It ''not existing'' is plausible, but there's a reason DBZ had so much filler. Like I said, there was once an episode of DBZ that came out before the chapter was published in the manga. I can't see Bojack being SSj2-tier at all. He got owned by SSjin 2 Kid Gohan, who didn't seem to be trying at all like he was against SPC. MSSjin Kid Gohan also didn't seem too far from Bojack's full power either IMHO.

MSSjin Kid Gohan also didn't seem too far from Bojack's full power either IMHO. and since this is almost a year later and we know gohan never stopped training it doesnt make sense for him to be stronger? the gohan in this movie has to be stronger than cell games gohan. Not by a wide margin, but enough to have his enraged form within reach. Goku still needed to give him his pep talk. Its impossible to argue that goku didnt have SSJ3 when he was revealed, but since there were two movies made after buus appearance then it makes sense that his being asked to handle broly and be perfectly fine in the next movie is ok instead of being erased like he was risking against janemba. So using his SSJ2 form against broly isnt an issue for goku who wanted to use it against Buu. A fat buu that would stuff broly like bell peppers. Edited by Paikuan extreme, May 27 2012, 04:36 AM.

Movie 9 takes place "several months" after the Cell Games, but Gohan doesn't seem to have slacked off like he probably did in the main timeline. I'm actually thinking that Movie 9 and Movie 10 can take place in the same timeline, mostly on the basis that Goku calling Gohan a pussy in Movie 9 motivated him to keep training and lead into Movie 10. But that might be another subject altogether. Anyway, yeah, M9 Gohan > CG Gohan for sure. Was Goku's presence requested at the end of Movie 10 or Movie 11? If it's Movie 11, SSj3 wasn't revealed yet, I don't think.

But like I've been arguing, I don't think SSJ3 being ''revealed'' yet has validity. Goten wishes his father was helping him out with Broly in Movie 10, despite the Movie being made before the World Tournament in the Boo Saga was published, I think.
