Before I comment on it, what did you use to make this? An image or a render?

Can you post the original image too?

Yeah that's what it looked like (:

You didn't necessarily have to post the original image, but it makes it easier for us to evaluate your sig. :p

Saw it, thanks! :)

This is a difficult image to work with for several reasons, the main one being the really complex lighting it has already going on. Having to put effects over that and create your own color and lighting scheme doesn't seem like an easy task AT ALL, so I imagine you've struggled a little bit with that.
To be completely honest I almost didn't spot the V guitar in your sig, I feel like the lighting and the effects kinda make it blend in too much with the building behind it and I wish it didn't it because that guitar adds a whole new character and vibe to the image. It just makes it ten times more badass and interesting to look at, so I wish you had tried to make it stand out more.

I like the thundery feel of the sig and I think you did a good job making the image a lot more vibrant than it originally was. That said, when I look at this sig I don't get the feeling that it is well organized and clean. The original image doesn't help, but the way you placed the effects also contribute to that somewhat messy look of the sig (there's blue pretty much everywhere which makes it hard to understand what exactly the concept for this sig was and what you were trying to do what that effect -- what the overall look you wanted to achieve was).

I love, love, LOVEEE that you're trying to step outside of your comfort zone and risk different styles, though. Please keep it up, you have a lot of technical knowledge down so I just know you're going to get great at other styles pretty quickly.

(sorry if I rambled a bit in this critique, I'm a bit tired :p )

ty for that awesome feedback.
In all honesty I didn't really have a set picture in my mind of what I was trying to make it look like. I actually thought the same thing about the guitar aswell and will do abit more editing to because I feel like there's still something more I can do to it. Yeah the lighting was already there so I was trying to add my own effects without making it stupidly bright, the lightening was actually me testing if I could mess with it and make it bright but it ended up looking pretty nice so I thought I'd keep it. Thank you for posting that helped me out alot I know what things I should do when I go back and edit it :)

really is unique

i do like how he fades in the background and good use of colours

but i think he fades a bit too much in the background personally

other wise pretty darn good

seems almost ghost like pretty cool

I have to agree completely with what Kris said.

I took it for granted that it was a sword he was holding, and didn't look into too much detail at that part of the image - primarily because it was so clouded and in shadow in comparison to the rest of the sig.

I think that there's a weird struggle between reds and blues in this sig, that doesn't really flow too well. I like that you're trying to get a new style underway, and there's always improvements to make, so you should be given props for trying. Like Kris said, though, I think a lot of this boils down to the render being a tough one to work with, which kinda limited your creative aspects with it.

Keep trying, bro :D

Yo

The effects on the jacket are incredible, it's come at the cost of making things messy and unclear, but the effects themselves are sweet, you should do a few more in this style but try and keep it cleaner.

Great work anyway, this style has a lot of potential if a little messy atm.
