Tien's 7 Year Power Gains?

Chrome Favourite Manga Fullmetal Alchemist	So we know for a fact that Tien trained for 7 years from the Cell Games gap to the Boo Saga. My question would be: How strong do you think he could've gotten? In 7 years, I personally have him close, if not equal to Android 17, with the Tri Beam being able to kill an opponent of Semi Perfect Cell tier, and being able to stop/impede Perfect Cell.

He wouldn't have been able to kill Semi Perfect Cell, he was just able to slow him down. When Cell came up, he wasn't that injured, and Tien was basically dead. Semi Perfect Cell >>>>> Tien. Tien's Neo Tri Beam was just a powerful technique, but the cost of it is to great to sustain it in an actual battle. Now, Over the Course of that time, I also have him at the androids level. Being he blocked a blast from boo, even it was a fraction of buu's power, Tien Definitely improved. Piccolo (Cell Saga) = Android 17 >Tien(Boo Saga) Tien's close, but not exactly their. Don't forget, the android saga and cell saga are within 2 weeks of eachother, if that much. Tien did not improve in that time. Tien had no chance to beat SSJ Vegeta, and SSJ Vegeta got demolished by android 18, let alone 17.

I only think he could with the Tri Beam after 7 years. And the Neo Tri Beam isn't meant to hurt, it's an attack that pushes back.

I think he meant it's pretty obvious that Tien is stronger than 50% frieza by the buu saga, but too each his own I presume. and no offence, but you do seem to be like the biggest troll on this forum. The humans, who were all weaker than Goku, somehow all got stronger than Raditz in the course of a single year. I think there's sufficient evidence to say that Tien did gain an ample (by human standards) power level in 7 years. And it's a fact that he trained for 7 years, so you can't simply shrug that one off.

You have to remember that 17 strangled him while barely trying and both Piccolo and Vegeta tried to make the save. Heck for that matter Tien in Z never showed more physical power in terms of his strikes or fighting strength than Krillin, just haxed energy attacks. The closest thing we get to a meaningful physical Tien strike in Z was vs the Saibamen and it didn't even kill him, as Krillin got in a better shot and dodged Nappa better hand to hand. In the anime world the difference as martial artists and powerhouses sans amplified attacks was only magnified, outside that Bojack movie Edited by Kblo247, May 24 2012, 03:00 AM.
