Names for SSJ2 mentioned in manga Chapter: 474 (DBZ 280), P3.3-8, P4.1, P7.5 Goku: “First, this is my regular state. This is Super Saiyan. Thing here is that some peoples go only by SSJ2 characteristics and yet i have more than enough proof how aura is changing all the time. Reason like : Raw strenght, emotions, weak, damaged, cant control energy which is like reason of loosing it so fast etc. Also many peoples think that Gohans anger aka SSJ2 is what gives him SSJ2. Thing here is that Toei made movie 9 or even in movie 10 where Gohan neads to be pushed to go SSJ2. But explanation is here for Teen Gohan going SSJ2 first time on world tournament : Gohan doesnt nead anger to go SSJ2. Gohan flat out states he would just show Kibito SSjin2 proving that he could transform whenever he wanted to. It wasn't just an unexpected outcry like it was when he got enraged back in the Freeza arc etc. He was perfectly composed against Kibito apart from being a little nervous that his classmates would know who he really was and what he was capable of. Hell if he was truly 'angry' then surely he would have went into 'a frenzy' like he usually did and as Vegeta pointed out am I right ? Edited by Super Vegetto, May 23 2012, 01:12 AM.

yes you showed me gohan from the world tourment saga lol but toriyama drew ssj gohan and ssj2 gohan during the world tourment with 1 bang stands this is why when gohan watched videl's fight he was a ssj with 1 bang stands gohan was a ssj vs dabura Chapter: 458 (DBZ 264), P6.1-2 Context: after Majin Boo quickly reaches full power Kaioshin: “Th-that’s impossible…Wh-why has Goku’s damage energy [filled it up] already…!?” Gohan: “…I-I know…! Father is fighting at a level that has further surpassed Super Saiyan…Vegeta probably is too…If-if two incredible powers like that clash, th-the damage is astounding too…!” gohan says the damage is huge since they are ssj2 which means he was not sj2 when he fought dabura |

his emotions have nothing to dow ith it but ssj2 might have no lightening when he is weakened and gohan never had lightening and ys toei showed gohan is nagry in movies 9 and 10 so he can go ssj2 and he has to be angry while at ssj2 if he unleashes his hidden powers like he did when he killed cell he was angry when he went ssj2 vs kibito look at his eyes and expressions |

Corectly. Gohan was SSJ2 against Dabura. And the battle : Super Perfect Cell >>> Dabura > Perfect Cell Ful Power. Goku says Dabura is equal with Cell , probably Perfect Cell Ful Power , then , in the fight with Gohan SSJ2 , Goku was impressed of Dabura. |

gohan was a ssj since he had no lightening and even said goku and vegeta were inflicting a huge damage to buu's cacoon since they were ssj2s |

The lightning is an inconsistency, just like the two strands of his hair is an inconsistency. He's SSJ2. We have no reason to believe that Gohan's SSJ1 = Perfect Cell ; especially when he was stated to have gotten weaker. |

toriyama never forgets lightening during the manga and he had gohan's hair as ssj and ssj2 as the same during the world tourment besides gohan was ot equal to dabura he was being toyed with Chapter: 459 (DBZ 265), P2.2-3 Badidi: “How about it, Dabra? Just to be sure, do you have confidence that you can defeat that Earthling [Gohan]?” Dabra: “Naturally. I fought him a little bit before, after all. There’s no doubt that I can take care of trash like that.” dabura says gohan is trash and he can easily beat him he was toying with gohan and i have dabura close to FP power perfect cell |

There are a couple panels where Majin Vegeta has no lightning, and then he does again. They're inconsistencies, honestly. |

maybe because he was weakened or because his aura was vague anyway gohan never had lightening since he was ssj besides dabura was way stronger than ghan if gohan was ssj2 so dabura has to be ssj2 goku's level but he is not |

I dont know why people say this, goku was fully aware of cells power, as a matter of fact he was the only one really. perfect cell to goku is simply Cell, not even perfect cell, which is the name he called himself, no one else called him perfect cell in the japanese anime/manga but himself. so yeah, Goku is aware that Dabra is as powerful as cell because he fought cell, not because he fought suppressed cell, goku was fully aware cell was suppressed, so what youre saying is wishful thinking built on an assumption, not evidence. But then we have another problem: Could MSSJin Goku/Vegeta be able to beat up Dabra/ Seru? That's why I have Goku becoming 3 times stronger in the Otherworld. Oh Boy I hate these debates. Gohan was a Super Saiya-jin 2 IMHO. Kaioshin would have told Gohan to go all out, like he did during the Budokai Tenkaichi, instead of holding back and giving Boo more energy. That's my opinion, of course C:. |

Even Goku says that he wont give any energy to Majin boo so he goes SSJ2 full power. |
