Watching the King Piccolo saga right now, but I had a question regarding the 2nd world martial arts saga. In Master Roshi and Tien's match you know that Master Roshi gave up mid fight to teach Tien a lesson, but I was wondering if they actually continued would Master Roshi been able to defeat him? He was quite taken aback when he watched Goku fight him and not to mention in the previous tournament he barely won against Goku claiming that if Goku's legs were longer he probably would've been knocked out. As for Tien regarding King Piccolo, I thought it was very strange how Tien was having such a hard time with Drum when Goku and Yajirobe beat Tambourine and Cymbal like they were nothing. Tien had the upper hand, iirc. They were fairly even but he forfeited since there was no real point of fighting him. I'm fairly certain Tien would've won |

I honestly don't think Roshi would've been able to pull it off. The Kamehameha Wave was useless, and the only other trick was the Thunder Shock Surprise. Now, he might've been able to, but we'll never know for sure. |

Drum is up in the air. Probably just a plot device. |

I think that picture was from the Android Saga when Chiaoty stayed at Kame house with Roshi, Oolong, etc. He's so cute lol |

Roshi himself admitted he'd lose the fight if they kept going as I recall, either way, Tenshinhan was countering most of Kamesennin's moves more or less. This now is my opinion, but I think it would be a fair fight, with Tenshinhan winning of course. About Doramu, he was made out of Piccolo Daimao when young, not old, so he logically is stronger than Tambourine and Cymbal, both made when he was older and obviously much weaker. Tenshinhan should be able to easily beat Tambourine and Cymbal. |

Tambourine was seen in the flashback when Master mutaito fought King Piccolo so he was created then. I can link to the episode if it's allowed. Edited by Tarmus Cannon, May 22 2012, 03:29 PM.

Good point, I'm taking manga only into consideration, that episode could be considered filler but I'm not sure. Either way, it could be a different version of Tambourine, I don't remember that episode since I haven't watched the anime in a while now. Piccolo Daimao was young at that time, so that should be a stronger version of Tambourine, unless Mutaito used the Mafuba to contain both Piccolo and Tambourine. If Piccolo was the only one locked, he made another "Tambourine" when he was old so it'd be a weaker version. Can you tell what happened in the episode to refresh my memory? The flashback just showed Tambourine and a bunch of other demons terrorizing people in the world and when Master Roshi and Master Shen watched Mutaito use the evil containment wave on King Piccolo. That was the very first episode of the King Piccolo saga. |
