Yes gt couldve been so much more Only good fights were goku vs baby, the fight with super 17 & omega But they shouldve used trunks, gohan, goten, uub & even vegeta more |

The fact that gt = goku time, characters such as vegeta and gohan were insignificant compared to goku. plus goten and trunks would of been so powerful, but all they did was stand around getting their asses kicked. Uub was also a wasted character who had a lot of potential. though whole idea of turning goku into a child, just made the whole show too childish, i couldn't take goku serious even when goku was trying to be serious. |

I never even really liked Super Vegetto  That isn't my main problem with GT either. It is one of them though. |

I never understood why one of the main points for hating GT is all the Goku screentime, yet no one hates dragonball for the exact same reason. |

I don't dislike it for that reason either. I love Goku, and him being a kid was refreshing for the series. I thought it dragged on a bit too much, but it's all relative. |

Well the reason behind that is because so many powerful fighters were introduced in Z. Vegeta, Gohan, Trunks, Goten and Uub had so much potential. In Gt none of them had any key roles, except getting pummeled by the bad guys. Edited by Warrior-Elite, May 20 2012, 08:53 AM.

I really enjoyed the baby saga and the end of the shadow dragon saga. You guys should watch dbz over again because it really isnt that much better. You seem tobthink its the greatest thing of all time. |

Its good, for entertainment. The black star dragonball saga was pretty lame until the Rilldo fight. I liked how they made Rilldo look. Then Baby had one of the best character designs IMO. Its just everything was rushed and wasnt nearly as dramatic as DBZ, and it was all about Goku which was lame. But it had SSJ4 which is my favorite form. Its all based on opinions though, if you over analyze GT you will HATE it, but if you sit back and watch it just for fun; its not so bad. |

DragonBall or even DragonBall Z was about Goku as well as others. GT was nothin but Goku & only Goku. Regardless of how much potential or star value a character has, overexposing, especially without its soul in its makin results in nothin more but garnerin hate. Its predecessors were special, as Toriyama's contribution as well as soul are imprinted on every panel of the manga, while the anime was its reflection. |

Dragonball was incredibly heavily focused on Goku. Possibly moreso than GT. Goku went through pretty much the entire RRA arc by himself, with only Bulma and Krillin for a short while (And they did nothing), he was always getting to the finals of every tournament, he was pretty much the only character to be able to do anything at any point. Jackie Chun won the 21st Budokai, Yamcha beat Invisible man and Yajirobe beat Cymbal. That's about the only important things people who weren't Goku did in DB (Not counting villains obviously). GT at least had Goku, Trunks and Pan all doing something during the earlier episodes, and Pan doing stuff in the shadow dragon eps too. And added Vegeta towards the end being helpful. Not in dragonball though, if there was a villain in DB then Goku was the only person who would ever be allowed to even touch him. If it's a minor villain then they might let someone other than Goku do something, but usually not. I'm not saying I like GT for all the Goku focus, but to say GT focuses too much on Goku and the original Dragon ball doesn't is just being bias. |

They did travesty to my favorite character and other favorite characters that's why I hate it so much. They were trying to force Pan on us too. Pan would have been better if she wasn't as annoying and could actually turn super saiyan. The three characters that traveled through space were so random besides Goku. They should have had other favorites like Gohan, etc. IF we wanted to see Goku as a kid, we should have just watched dragonball again. It was just dumb him turning into a little kid.  Then he turns into an adult in ssj4? Wtf is that?

My own little theory was that SSj4 was so powerful that it broke the effects of the dragon. There might be a canon answer, I wouldn't know, I don't put much thought into GT. Edited by Clearin, May 23 2012, 04:08 PM.

There is no theory for Dragonball Gt. It just fails. I admit there were some good things like SSJ4, Uub, and cool characters that had potential, but it didn't meet any of those standards. It didn't reach that potential. |
