Goten and Trunks both displayed the form, whether it was intentional by Toei or not.

Vegeta used it against Super #17 and Omega Shenron.

Goku used it against Rildo and Super #17.

Gohan used it against Super #17 and Omega Shenron.

Goten-Baby used it against Gohan.

Trunks used it against Golden Oozaru Vegeta-Baby and possibly when he was discharging Baby from his body earlier on.
Goten was blowing himself up like Vegeta vs Buu. Trunks just powered up and expelled Baby from his body. It is never flat out shown them making the full on transformation like Vegta and Gohan did vs 17 or Goku to get that metal off of I'm versus Rildo
SSjin Goten-Baby can't do crap against Base Gohan. He powers up, his aura flares, his hair changes shades, and he forces Gohan to transform. I'd say that was him going SSjin 2 in Toei's world.

Trunks does something similar against Oozaru Baby. He can't do crap against him, performs a power-up, then manages to uppercut him.

 Gotten wasn't going to let his brother blow himself up and die so he contained the blast IMO like 17 did with Goku, which is how he got cut and infected. Trunks also was told by Goku that he couldn't beat/hurt baby as a SSJ. If the two had the next level they would have used it versus Omega or 17 over getting shot with bullets and slapped around. It makes no sense
