Is there a possibility of a heart attack occurring? And the one who died is so close to you, a friend or a family member. Is there any possibility of something bad happening bad? Like heart stopping or worse like death too? And if you wanted to die when your mother is dying, and she died in front of you. Would you die? |

You mean if you watched someone die would something happen to you as well? I think it's doubtful for something to happen right away. I mean, you could have like a panic attack or have some effects from shock and maybe in some very serious and extreme cases have a heart attack through shock (don't know if that's even possible, I'm not a doctor). Other than that, I'd say that you shouldn't have any other physical problems (psychological is another matter....). |

The worst that can happen in this situation is that one can actually die from the grief. But I think that only happens with older people. I doubt very much that someone having a heart attack could induce somebody nearby to also have a heart attack. Otherwise we'd get long chain reactions of people having heart attacks. |

Chain reactions are possible but highly unlikely. In general, nothing much will happen except some mild shock. In rare cases, your shock can lead to seizures or heart attacks, but I wouldn't worry too much about that actually happening. |

I agree with the dude who likes to change his name all the time (lol). There may be a strong emotional response but i highly doubt you can get a heart attack from seeing someone die. Maybe the situation involved with that person's death can give you a heart attack (ex. gun fire). |

As a young, healthy person, I'm sure nothing would happen. Probably a ton of mental trauma from the event in the persons future though. |
