A penalty, a goal, a red card just anything. England doing decent though, definitely had the best chance of the game so far through Milner. Edit: Got the goal England 1 - 0 France (Lescott). The French defense is weak, but England have to keep more possession of the ball if they want to beat France.

Nasri should not have been allowed to control the ball like that and place his shot so close to the box. It was poor defending really.

Firefox Favourite Manga Dragonball	I thought England played very well. It was a slight laspse in concentration that allowed France to score. Plus the referee's decisions were a bit inconsistant. If England play as well as that in other games then they could go quite far indeed.

The commentators yesterday were very biased and severely on Italy's side. It was very difficult to enjoy the match when they were making remarks that were quite infuriating. Yeah I don't condone it, commentators can be pretty awful, I agree today that the ref should have booked Cabaye but the way they were talking it was as if no matter what England weren't going to be awarded any free kicks and that the French kept getting soft calls, it was driving me nuts. I support England if Wales don't qualify but they make it very hard sometimes Overall I thought the second half was a bit dull, France are a better technical team but they don't move the ball around as quickly as the Spanish, so England dealt with them pretty well. Parker's injury is a cause for concern as they have such little cover there, I also thought Johnson had a decent game (for him) which was amazing. Debuchy is a quality full back and as gifted as Nasri and Ribery are they are guilty of holding on to the ball for too long sometimes, Benzema was quiet. I rate Lescott, he is a defender who is a solid aerial threat and although Diarra gifted him the goal (plus Evra was awful in giving the free kick away and his overall play) England will have to rely on him and Terry at set pieces. England need Rooney back, he's such an important player. Welbeck did a respectable job but between him, Young and Milner there's a real lack of creativity and International class that I think only Rooney can fill. I was glad to see Chambo start but he was a little shaky, it's great to see a young English player try things though, on form he is formidable.

FF Favourite Manga Batman	Pookie, admit it, you almost shat yourself at the end of the Italy vs Spain game when Marchisio made that run through the middle and shot right on Casillas. haha Spain had me scared the whole from the 64th minute onward though . Italys defense was getting me nervous though. De Rossi was playing as a CB and made a few bad give aways, and all the denfensemen got carded. Edited by Mc Esse, Jun 11 2012, 08:01 PM.
