 Spain will beat Ireland without much trouble. Robbie Keane might get a goal but that'll be it.

Croatia vs Italy is a different story however, I can see that being a great game. Perhaps a 2 - 2 draw, or maybe one of them might edge it at the end to win 3 - 2 but I'm not sure which side, they seem quite equal to me.

 OMFG. Portugal x Denmark was exciting and nervewracking as hell!!!!

I thought the match was way more frustrating and suffocant than it should have been. It was clear from the beginning Portugal was the better team on the pitch. But Denmark did make good use of Portugal's shaky defense, so I'll give them that.
Cristiano Ronaldo...... I have no clue what's happened to him. PUT YOUSELF TOGEDAH, DUDE!! Like him or hate him, the guy IS an amazing soccer player, so it baffles me that he's been doing such a poor job. He was especially annoying today, wasted too many (I think 3, at least) blatant and obvious opportunities to score.... thus making an entire portuguese nation suffer until the very last minute.

Portugal seriously needs to work on their flaws as a team right now because they will be their downfall against stronger teams. They were KILLING it for most of the first half of the game, though. And on the second half Denmkar was pretty much only focusing on their defense whereas Portugal was in it to win it and it showed.



I said last week I wasn't excited about this Eurocup?!! Well, screw that. GAME ON, BIATCHES.

 Oh trust me Kris. I will be like that tomorrow for Spain's game haha.

Holland's defense is very poor. I think that is the weakness in their game, but I thought they had some chances that they just didn't put in. Germany is good overall and they will be tough to beat. Gomez is a goal scoring machine and it is very difficult for defenses to pick him up. He makes gorgeous runs that people don't seem to notice. I'm sorry Viddy, but Gomez knows how to finish regardless of the midfielders he has. He makes the best of his chances.

Portugal is underestimated because of the first game against Germany. I thought they did well against Germany. If Pepe scores that first goal taht he hit the post, I think it would have given Portugal the confidence they needed to beat Germany. I see Portugal beating Holland in the next game.

Germany doesn't have much to play for in the next game and that may be a break that Denmark needs to make it to the next round. For Portugal it's a do or die situation. I hope Portugal can pull it off.

Croatia and Italy is going to be an intense match. I'm hoping both teams tie it up so if Spain wins they can be tied for first in the group. Spain is going to have a tough match with Ireland. Ireland have tall players that can score on set pieces. Ughh I am going to be so nervous throughout the whole match. I won't be able to sleep tonight.

 I admit, today's Germany game has proved to me that Gomez isn't as useless as he first appeared. However, what's all this about him being substituted after scoring 2 goals? He's Germany's leading/only goalscorer in this tournament so far, so what the heck? He could have tried for a hatrick against Holland but he got subbed for Klose again. He could have become a legend. Germany vs. Holland is a bit deal to both the Dutch and the Germans.

Whilst I think Italy may win tomorrow, I want Croatia to win, because Mario Balotelli plays for Manchester City, and besides the fact they are scum, Balotelli is kind of a douche, the same kind of douche as one John Terry... cept maybe less racist and more punchy.

 They are trying to rest Gomez as much as possible. However, I do agree with you Becca. I think Gomez was better off staying on the field. If Holland comes back in the game, it would have been a bad decision from the German manager.

I don't think Italy will start Balotelli especially after Di Natale scored. THey would be absolutely nuts not to start Di Natale.

 I don't think Mario Balotelli was playing in his normal position though. For some reason I think they had him playing on the wing or there abouts and that doesn't suit his style of play at all. He got subbed after making a chance for himself and missing, which is a bit harsh but he was getting frustrated, so I guess the manager wanted to play it safe. Though, I'd have loved to see him start a fight, fights are always exciting to watch in football :p

Balotelli is too much of a risk to put on the field. Di natale is better anyway.

I was trying to keep neutral about Ireland and Spain, but after you saying that I am going to have to talk some trash myself because you are saying Ireland will destroy Spain. If Ireland get one touch on the ball today, they may have a chance, but I think they are going to be monkeys in the middle. I think possession will be 90% to 10%. I hope Spain demolishes them.

Didn't see your spoiler, but still a lot of Ireland fans are talking trash around here lol I had to.

Edit: Oh and I'm super scared. I went to the bathroom 4 times already because I'm so nervous. :(

I'm not confident which is why I'm nervous. I try to talk trash, but I'm still nervous. :unsure: Anything can happen in the Eurocup.

I'm happy that Balotelli is playing. He makes things interesting. They should have adverts to every Italy game that goes "Will he score? Will he get sent off? Or will he just act like a five year old again? You'll have to watch to find out!"

Also, footballers should elect the best singer on the team as the only one to sing along to their national anthem. Save the rest of us from having to listen to a bunch of tone deaf guys yelling :p

Edit: Italy 1-0 up and I'll also say this: there is no better sight in football than a perfectly struck free kick and Andrea Pirlo is one of the best at it.

 That has to be goal of the tournament so far. I mean I was impressed with Gomez's goals yesterday, and Joleon Lescott's header against France but that free kick was amazing. It was so low it whistled past the Croatian wall's heads.

 Ballotelli is a great guy. Not sure what he's done....except setting his house on fire that was daft, but giving away money balances it out.

They can't just drop him anyway, he's a young player. They probably know this isn't their tournament so they need to pay their younger players for the future.
Disappointed there about Croatia going down 1-0....still going for them winning it 2-1.

Ireland for the draw.....
