On a real technical basis though, after Vegeta and Bulma make a family, doesn't he become the King of Saiyans and Trunks become the new Prince of Saiyans?
	We Super Saiyans are in a league of our own.

Even if he did, he'd be ruling over one person, and that's Goku. But in a technical sense, yes, he'd become King, and Trunks would be Prince.

The line should go like you said, but it is generally a requirement for a coronation to take place for ones ascension from prince to king, which is why Vegeta always calls himself the prince of all saiyans still

Posts: 663 Group: Member Member #6,803 Joined: September 28, 2011	Basically that, there's probably a ritual where the prince takes over the king, knowing saiya-jins it's probably a fight (maybe even to death?) but could be just the king giving the prince the title. Either way it shows he respects his father and the saiya-jin hierarchy, since from the first time we see him he's talking about low-classes, elites, royalty and whatnot.
