How could this be a plot hole? Because if he didn't cut it, there'd be no reason for it to look leveled like it does. Vegeta said himself that pure blooded Saiyan's hair doesn't change from the day they're born.

He took her shopping thus the earth clothes, learned to drive, and cut his hair cause she told and wanted him to. That was his princess in that house and she had her way.

It wasn't like a case with Gohan and Goku or even Goku and Pan where he had to make up time and arm her respect as the series went on, she knew that Vegeta would put his foot in whoevers ***** pissed her off lol
