SSJ Goten and Trunks are comparable to SSJ Teen Gohan who is greater or equal to SSJ Goku Cell Saga who is cleary stronger than a cell Jr. I would put my money on Goten and Trunks. It wouldn't be a stomp but they would win with moderate to extreme diffculty.

Ah. In that case, I'll say that Goten might lose, and Trunks might win. But with Trunks winning, we'd be implying that he's stronger than Vegeta towards the end of the Cell Saga, right?

Yes, but I don't think it has to seem far-fetched. Vegeta wasn't flat out getting stomped by the Cell Jrs. so I can reasonably put Trunks a little ahead

I think the kids would win, but they might have some trouble. It also depends on how powerful you think the Cell Juniors really are.

With high difficulty yes. If Trunks can do it, Goten should be able to win too seeing how although Trunks is stronger it's only by a very minimal amount

Well I have teen Gohan at around Cell games Goku's power (Just for simplicities sake, nothing to actually support that).

I have it something like this:
SSj Goku (Cell Games): 100
SSj teen Gohan: 100
SSj Vegeta (Cell games): 70
Cell Jr (Full): 80
SSj Goten: 85
SSj Trunks: 88-90

The Cell Jr's skill (assuming they keep Cell's) and multiple kinds of techniques may help him win on a 1 on 1 match. He'd get beat 2 v 1 though imo.

It took a SSJ2 to slaughter the Cell Jr's.

While its true that rage was the key for SSJ, Goten as well as Trunks seem to be extremely comfortable/relaxed as SSJ's. Thus, its possible that the kids acheived MSSJ or the way I call it FPSSJ, the core perfection of SSJ.

Now, it was shown that SSJ Goten fought SSJ Teen Gohan in their training prior to the Tenkaichi Budoukai. It seeemd even, really. Also, lets not forget that this version of Gohan has slacked in his training, in which his power drop is significant.Thus, SSJ Goten ~ SSJ Teen Gohan ( 7 years of slacking in training)

Now, Exhausted MSSJ/FPSSJ Goku (post Cell fight) vs Cell Jr
Outcome: Goku was helpless.

I strongly belief that a Revived MSSJ/FPSSJ Goku vs Cell Jr could at worst comes to worst, put up a decent fight.

For SSJ Goten that was on par with Teen Gohan ( 7 years of slacking in training) or even Trunks thats slighly above the former, this fight is extreme difficult, & I'll definetly not say they're gonna win this.

Lets not forget, it took a SSJ2 to slaughter Cell Jr's.

Just because it took a SSJ2 to one shot them, doesn't mean that no one below a SSJ2 could beat them.

I'm pretty sure a fully fit Goku could take them, after all Vegeta, Trunks and Piccolo could fight well with them and Goku had a significant lead on them.

I think that Goten or Trunks would be roughly even with the Jrs pre-Rosat but the Jrs larger range of techniques and most probably better fighting skill should see them just about get over the line.

We'll never be those kids again
