Why did you make this topic if you're just going to argue if the answers are different from your own? You asked us if we thought Gotenks or Gohan would win and we answered between the 2 choices. Edited by Clearin, Apr 21 2012, 12:13 PM.

Nope. Goku was lying. He later admits (to Vegeta, at the fight with Kid Boo), that he could have beaten Fat Boo in his SSjin 3 form, but he wanted to give the kids something to do. And all this contradicts Piccolo thinking SSjin Gotenks could beat Fat Boo and Goku saying the same thing. Kaioshin: That’s definitely the greatest power in the world…!” Goku: “…But…Is he greater than Majin Boo?...I wonder…” Goku was pretty much replying to Kaioshin saying he would be the greatest power in the world. Goku responds and says 'Would he be greater than Majin Boo'? He wasn't assessing Gohan's power individually; he was responding to Kaioshin saying he would be the greatest power. i made this topic not expecting people ot just drop answers that dont hold water and then have everyone else agree. as far as i can see its JUST to disagree with me. Nothing you guys have said has any proof at all. this was debate topic, thats why its in the versus. thats why i made this topic, it came up and i wanted to see why people think gotenks is so strong when gotenks couldnt even prove he was strong until he actually fought? All im reading is bits and parts of WHOLE paragraphs and conversations taken out of context for the sake of argument. Saying gotenks could beat gohan without training in the rosat is baseless. at least i stated the reason why gohan would be on an equal level or over buu. gotenks was NEVER tested as fused SSj, his power was incomplete and had everyone fooled into believing he could do it the first time. He was wrong they were wrong. He got whooped. saying gotenks would whoop gohan with little difficulty is like saying gotenks is stronger than an ssj3. which couldnt possibly be true IMHO, since i have SSJ3 goku at full power w/kid buu even with SSJ gotenks POST rosat. SSj gotenks would need to be at full power to beat janemba, and gokus movie 12 strength follows this timeline perfectly. actually flying nimbus im fully aware goku was lying to them as he later admitted, but that doesnt negate what he said and did and for what reason. He fought buu to buy time for gotenks to train. He bought them TWO days. Buu changed into super buu and gave them less than a day. Goku already wanted gotenks to train, and told the boys the technique he would teach them would give them the power needed to take revenge, no where does it say that automatically the boys fusion can beat buu without training when training for them was the only thing goku had in mind. in other words, i didnt start this, i just asked who would win, and when i told WHy? i was rebuffed and laughed at, like there is no discussion. WRONG!! there is a discussion and believing gotenks can beat gohan without saying why is almost baiting. especially since i gave my reason for thinking gohan would win, not that gohan would just beat gotenks down and be done with it like you guys said about gotenks doing gohan. Goku agreed gohan was the GREATEST power, but he also questioned in his heart if it was REALLY enough. gotenks was powerful i NEVER denied that, but saying he is THIS strong and doesnt need training to fight buu when training was the whole spiel just sounds argumentative. So i asked for an explanation. i gave one, you should too, gokus own words about gohan's power never had him doubting HOW strong he was, it just seemed apparent no one knew the true extent of buus power. Thus leaving goku to wonder if gohan was enough. I doubt highly the ultimate power up would have helped gotenks much, and that says alot. |
