I had a friend who got hit in the nads and he had to be rushed to hospital, losing one of them due to it getting hit pretty badly. I got hit in a similar way. I was downed and couldn't get up for over an hour. If I said anything else, I'd just be repeating what other people have said. I think another reason why getting kicked in the nads is more painful than childbirth is because there's no result. You go through childbirth, you have a baby if everything goes according to plan. You get kicked in the nads and the only thing that awaits you is pain and possible results that will affect you negatively for the rest of your life. |

Exactly. If you ask any woman who had a natual birth that went ok and they weren't on drugs they'll tell you it's not as bad as people make it out to be, mostly scary. The vagina stretches and gets wider, even more so for childbirth, obviously. Getting kicked in the nads, unless they're broken or you're a xiaolin monk it's always going to hurt majorly and much more commonly will do more damage. There's thin cords connecting the testicles to your body, which can easily snap. Can't imagine how sore that would be. There's just nothing that can prepare you for it unless you've been told it's happening it's going to badly effect you, and even if you get told. Sure, women can die from birth. But it's only if something goes wrong or the people weren't prepared as in weren't at the hospital to recieve proper medical care. By the time they give birth most women are usually exhausted anyway they don't feel it as badly as it could be. Periods vary from woman to woman. Generally they're not even that bad it's more the hormones that get you and make you moody(although it's obvious some just use it as an excuse) A good kick in the nads usually makes me feel sick for hours it's like they go up in to my stomach and it's just...just awful. Birth gets exaggerated. A whole BABY oh my lord!..., out of a hole that's widened and lubricated specifically so it can come out. Kick in the nads gets underestimated, why would so small things cause that much pain? Ridiculous. But they do. |

I can see that getting kicked in the balls is painful, but never ever ever say that getting cramps isn't that bad because they are painful. I've had days where I'd need to be in bed because of the pain. I don't mind having my periods because they mean I'm healthy, but they are painful. I remember when I got cramps at school and I had to walk a mile home. I couldn't make it. When I for home, I was put on bed rest. They checked my ovaries and everything was fine so there was no condition. My friend couldn't come to school on the days she had her period because it was that bad. Most of the women I've known have had it bad. So don't say it's not that bad unless you've experiencd it. It's why I'm avoiding saying too much about getting hit in the balls because I don't know how it would feel. I just see men on jackass get hit there. They go down I see. I didn't know men could die from it. It was a surprise to me and it must suck. However, a man saying cramps aren't that bad issue just pfff you have no idea. Edited by Pookie, Apr 23 2012, 02:48 AM.

From sports I've been hit in the balls a lot, I think I'm almost close to developing an immunity of sorts. If I had to choose if I'd rather get hit in the balls or give birth to a child though, Football to the crotch every time. |

i wasn't referring to childbirth at all. i was referring to a test on mythbusters where they have you stick your arm in ice water, and see who can keep it in the longest. the group of 25 women did significantly better than the group of 25 men. yes, other similar tests may give different results, but this one was both recorded and was very simple. the only factors tested were pain threshold, which is when you begin to feel pain, and pain tolerance, which is how much pain you could take. reactions such as crying, etc, weren't tested, just how long you could keep your arm in the water. in the test, women lasted an average of 100.4 seconds, while men lasted an average of 84.3 seconds. all of this is really irrelevant though. like i said, the most reliable way to test this is to have a woman give birth without any kind of anesthesia, score the pain, then kick her in the crotch, and score the pain. since women are almost as sensitive as men down there, and both tests would be done on the same woman, you could get a reasonable comparison of the pain from the two events. there would be some margin of error, of course, but it would still be fairly accurate. |

list of canon sources: the DB manga, and the Dr. Slump manga as it applies to the crossover during the rra saga. list of non canon sources: everything else, regardless of origin, format, or quality. for those that blindly follow word of god | |
