So....Liverpool beat Everton 2-1 and Chelsea beat Tottenham 5-1 in the Semi-finals Who do you think will win and who do you want to win the final? Usually when Chelsea and Liverpool play they both win when they're at home, although the last 2 matches between them were at Chelsea's and Liverpool won. Chelsea has a much better record when it comes to knockout matches though. http://www.liverpoolchelsea.net/ I've supported Liverpool to varying extents since I was 5 and haven't ever really liked Chelsea much since they've had ridiculous amounts of funds, although Liverpool aren't much better in that regard. I haven't been keeping track of football so I have no idea who will win. Drogba is on form I think so he'll be dangerous, but Liverpool have Gerard back so they could pull it off. If he wasn't playing I'd say they have no chance since he's really the core of the team. |

I'd go out on a limb and say Liverpool will win this one. Gerard hasn't played regularly for Liverpool for a couple of seasons now due to injuries, so the Liverpool midfield will be something like Downing - Spearing -Henderson with maybe Maxi or Bellamy being rotated in. Lucas would be their natural holding player but he's injured so I assume Spearing will be given the nod to start as Adam is also injured. If Gerard is fit I think he would player deep than what his usual position is and Caroll and Suarez would start. Chelsea are the better team but have more games and more to play for in the league. Liverpool have probably got the superior defence and although Chelsea lack a prolific goal scorer upfront currently, so do Liverpool. 2-1 Liverpool, I'd also say it will be a poor game (Now that I predicted that expect a 5-4 thriller). |

Yeah Chelsea was better than Liverpool but they still remain a weak team for me. I hope Bayern will crush them at the CHL final.

I can't see that happening. As much I dislike Chelsea, I have to admit that they have a great team. They dominated Liverpool and they should do the same to Bayern Munich. |

I disagree, They're playing well at the moment but Bayern Munich are a better side and have the home advantage. O |
